Akumal Beach Resort - Sunday

The day dawned hot and sunny as the rest of the days spent in Mexico had.  But this day was different. 

Because the Mexican government had said ZOMGWTFBBQ STFU GTFO

Today there was only time for a quick dip in the ocean or the pool and maybe a mimosa with breakfast before the buses left to take the students back to airport to go back to the grey of Fandom.

Sokka jumped back a few inches. "Uhhh... Yes. Or, no, not so much sneak as he saw me with it, and... But, I mean, I'm sure you knew that already; you've obviously spoken with him about it..."

"I was asking you," she snapped, again, leaning on the table with both hands. "And what did I tell you about drinking alcohol?"

Sokka tried to remember and failed. "Uh... Not to?" he ventured.

"I mean, really, I usually don't, it's just that we're on vacation and everything..."

"Not to," and if there was any extra rage in there, it was probably because Sokka forgot. "Same as the pranking. You should be lucky I'm not wringing your little neck and you can bet your ass I'm tossing you in detention if you as much as look at me funny in class."

Sokka sat up straight and trembled a little. "Understood! Yes, ma'am!"

He did indeed feel VERY lucky that she wasn't wringing his neck. He was also trying VERY HARD not to think about deliberately looking at her funny in class.

"Good." She pulled back, and only barely caught herself before she said the ingrained thing--

"Dismissed."

Maybe a little bit too ingrained.
