The day dawned hot and sunny as the rest of the days spent in Mexico had.  But this day was different. 

Because the Mexican government had said ZOMGWTFBBQ STFU GTFO

Today there was only time for a quick dip in the ocean or the pool and maybe a mimosa with breakfast before the buses left to take the students back to airport to go back to the grey of Fandom.

Sometimes she couldn't believe she let him tease her like this, like at all. "Besides remembering that we're on a very public bus?" she said, noting the hand.

"I remember," he said, a little sadly. "Why, is my hand bothering you?"

He was tempted to test her, but decided not to risk it. "You know, I miss the shorts."

At the moment she was thinking pants had been a very wise decision this morning. "They can always make return appearances," she told him.

"Now that I like hearing," he grinned. "Unless I have to wait until it's actually warm outside."

"You might," she admitted. "I'm not insane."

"And our rooms get heat," he reminded her, thinking he could create summer conditions.

"You're thinking way too hard about this," she said, not reminding him that when they were alone behind closed doors, it wasn't hard to see more than just her legs.

"Am I?" he asked, wondering what she meant. "I kinda like my idea."

"You are," she said, and smiled. "And I'm really not elaborating further here."

"Hmm, you're making me think extra hard now," he replied, drumming his fingers on her leg.

"Don't, you might hurt yourself," Jaina said, clearly teasing.

"Thanks for the support," he replied, making a face at her and squeezing her knee. "I'm so lucky to have such a kind and caring girlfriend."

"You really, really are," she said, leaning over to kiss his shoulder.

"And because you're so great," he started, resting his head on her. "I'm going to use you as my pillow."

"Look at me, being all useful," she said, but since she didn't mind, she shifted to make sure she could be comfortable with him like this.

"It's a bonus of having you all to myself," he murmured, deciding he deserved a nap after a long and early morning. If his hand drifted higher on her leg, it was completely unintentional.
