Akumal Beach Resort - Friday

You'd think warmth and sun would get boring.  But...really, no.

The day was gorgeous, the water was sparkling, and there were buses ready to take the students and chaperones on the short half hour trip to the ancient Mayan ruins at Tulum.

Did I mention there was warmth and sun?

"It's hard to suck when I'm oh so talented," Gavin said, taking the club and lining it up again. He swung back and followed through, whacking the ball a good distance again. Not as far as his first shot but further than John's still.

"Mmm, did you see where that one landed?"

John grabbed the club with a grumble. He was not happy with himself which would only make him better. This time he hit the ball farther, but it still wasn't far enough.

"Okay, fine, you win," he sighed.
