Bali [Sunday afternoon and evening, February 23, 2014]

After a few Portalocity mixups that took the Fandomites first to Bali, Democratic Republic of Congo, then to Bali, Bhutan with a mandatory singalong to Bali Ha'i as they waited, everyone finally arrives at the Grand Hyatt Bali, where complimentary fruit juice is waiting in your rooms, students, and something a little stronger is awaiting the chaperones. Take a moment to snap pictures of everyone in their welcome flower garland necklaces, then check into your rooms and take the chance to explore the hotel and its many amenities today: Bali itself can wait until tomorrow.

It's a balmy 80 degrees (29C) and the breeze smells like flowers and whatever's cooking for dinner at the various restaurants on the complex. Spring Break is going to be great.
