"Ape-inhabited," Rory pointed out. "Or, then again, speaking of boyfriends, we can always camp out with them." She blushed. "Um, after I acquire one," she added, glancing over at Marty.

"And when mine stops living with three -- er, two -- other women," Angela shrugged, remembering Aeryn's departure midsentence. "I guess singles witgh a lot of books will have to do."

"I'm thinking of putting up a bunch of shelves," Rory mused. "Like, around up by my ceiling. It shouldn't be that hard, though I'm wondering if 213 is becoming the most customized dorm aside from Bridgey's, considering the way I've messed with it."

"Maybe?" Angela wondered aloud. "But it looks great. Plus, you can practically fir the whole floor in there now."

[OOC: I'm blanking on what Rory's done to the room, specifically. Help?]

"This is true. And I was thinking of having Bridgey hook up a touchpad lock, maybe," Rory said thoughtfully. "But I like being able to fit everyone in there."

[Hee. She dismantled the bunkbed and basically turned it into a double, and so there are very likely holes in the wall. And she started to hook up a little hammock for Vladdie in the corner, but gave up, so there's sort of a little hook in the ceiling. She's really kind of exaggerating, in other words.]

Angela thought about that for a moment. "I'm fine with my key," she said. "But the touchpads are probably more convenient. Like, if you wanted someone to be able to get into your room but you didn't want him or her to actually have a key for some reason."

"Well, it'd allow more people to get in," Rory shrugged. "Like, I only had two keys, so I have one and, um...someone else has the other. But like, if I needed to let you or Parker or someone else in, touchpad would be useful."

"This is true," Angela said, raising her eyebrows a little at the fact someone else had a key. "I'm the only one with a key to my place anymore -- the first Sydney took hers when she left, I guess. I should probably get a second copy to give to someone."

"That's so weird, that pregnant Sydney who was your roomie went away, and now we have another one," Rory said, shaking her head. "Have you talked to her? Does she like, remember you or anything?"

"Yes and no, she had no idea who I was," Angela said. "And Principal Bristow? Wasn't her dad."

"So it's totally that parallel universe thing. Like you and Becky, only not."

"That's bizarre." Rory blinked. "What if a different me showed up? I don't mean like with Becky. Like, what if another Rory Gilmore was here?"

"Oh, weird. I wonder if you would like yourself -- I mean, Rory the second -- or if you'd just get really annoyed by you," Angela said. "Not that you're annoying, but you know what I mean."

"I feel lucky I haven't met a twin-type-person of my own. Yet."

"There was old-you. But that's different, since you didn't meet you," Rory pointed out. "But yeah, I know what you mean. Like how people who are too alike annoy each other."

Angela wrinkled her nose. "I don't want to think about old me," she said softly. "But that's it exactly. People who are too much alike can drive each other nuts."

A speculative look crossed her face. "Can Jake split himself into two Jakes?"

"Well...he turned his hand into a tiny him," Rory said, biting her lip. "But it wasn't exactly him. It was like a baby him - couldn't talk and seemed to be kind of instinctual."

"That would be cute," Angela cooed. "Strange and disturbing, but cute."

"It was adorable. I have pictures," Rory grinned. "He wore my doll's dress."

"Aww" Angela said, smiling. "Bring them to the library tomorrow? I think I need to see this."

"I so will," Rory promised. "I fed him espresso beans and stuff, too."
