fh_trips | Akumal Beach Resort

After what seemed like - and was - many hours of travel, the buses pulled up to a large brightly coloured complex beyond which could be seen a bright turquoise sea.

Maps and guides to the resort were handed out with building 4 circled on it. No room numbers were given yet but the entire second floor facing the main pool was being used for the Fandom High guests.

As soon as everyone made their way off the buses, they were free to explore the resort, play on the beach or poolside, visit the restaurants and bars, or just lounge in their rooms and enjoy not being in the 'cold' any longer.

[OOC: The resort is all-inclusive so food and drinks and activities are allowed. I assume they use wristbands of different colours to designate those who are and are not of age to drink. I also assume Fandom students are more than capable of figuring ways around that. Just don't get thrown in jail.

Threads below are for a variety of activities, there will be a second post with the room assignments going up shortly so as not to over-OCD this one. You can feel free to put up posts in your personal journals if you're doing specific things, in secluded coves, etc.

Also? The beachside bar has swings instead of chairs. This might be a reason this place was chosen. Shh.

"If I didn't, I wouldn't succeed," Peter pointed out. Well, not in any way that'd be fun.

"Then I guess I'm just going to have to wish you luck on that, huh?"

"Or you could help," Peter said. "If you were interested."

"You know me, always willing to help out," Brooke said. "What do you need?"

"Help?" Peter replied. "I'd hate to try to do any of this without you."

"Then you really shouldn't have to," she agreed.

"So you'll help me?" Peter asked.

"Definitely."

Peter might've stepped closer. "Good. 'cause I'm not sure how I could spend time with one of the hottest girls on this trip without you."

Brooke definitely stepped closer, with an eyebrow raise. "What do you mean 'one of'?"

"I didn't say where you ranked on the list," Peter replied, moving closer as well.

She only stopped when she could slide her free arm around his waist. "That answer is an improvement..."

"If I told the truth it'd only make the other girls feel bad," Peter said. He went to put his arms around her as well.

"I'm okay with them feeling bad," Brooke smiled.

Peter snickered. "Seriously, you've got to get over this shyness."

"I know. No one will ever notice me this way," she said, utterly failing at serious.

"Maybe it's good," Peter said. "More odds that I'm not going to lose you to some hotter guy."

"Hmm. Doubtful you would anyway," she said.

Besides, there was a difference between 'losing' and 'wandering off for a little detour'.

"Sure about that?" Peter teased, speaking as one who certainly never fell into flirting with other people.

"For now. I haven't seen what Mexico has to offer yet," she said, clearly teasing.

"Neither have I," Peter teased back.

"Something tells me I'll win out," Brooke decided. Because, you know, shy.

"So you're saying I shouldn't even waste my time," Peter said. "Looking around, I mean."

"Pretty much!" she agreed. "Unless you want to remember how much you appreciate me."

"How about we skip to the appreciating?" Peter asked.
