While the sun might have been setting, the activity in the city was not dying down. Far from it, actually. There was more and more noise as the work day ended and the celebration began. If you were into that sort of thing, that is.

The hotel was still open for those less interested in the nightlife of Rio de Janeiro.

It cawed again, pecking at the ground as though it was nothing more than a normal bird. Never mind the lack of that type in Brazil...

"Wherever might you be?" Loki asked, closer now as he walked slowly around the pool toward Ikol.
