Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Monday - Evening

While the sun might have been setting, the activity in the city was not dying down. Far from it, actually. There was more and more noise as the work day ended and the celebration began. If you were into that sort of thing, that is.

The hotel was still open for those less interested in the nightlife of Rio de Janeiro.

"Gosh," Toby tapped his chin. "Let me think: alone, for a week, in an awesome room at an excellent hotel with my amazing girlfriend. I thiiiiink I can handle it." And who knew? Maybe they could work up to naked time. Or... partially clothed time. Something.

"Damn straight!" Kenzi leaned in to kiss him, then grabbed the food. "And oh my god I missed lunch, and even with Anna eating like I had a parasite all weekend I'm still hungry. Foooood."

Kenzi snickered and started digging in, then had to pause to make obscene yummy noises. Because her taste buds were yelling how good it was. "MMmmmmm... So, what've you done here, so far? MMmmmMMMm!"

"Pretty much just hung out at the beach most of the day," Toby admitted. "Centre Island's got nothing on this place."

"Awesome. I brought the swimsuit." Kenzi beamed, then added, "And a ton of sunscreen. This is soooo much better than another trip to Canada, cool though our native land is."

Toby snickered. "Hey, as long as it's not a trip to Sudbury to visit the Big Nickel, I'm happy. But sunshine and beaches are a great way to break up the dreariness of February, gotta admit."

"I still can't believe they really pay for all this," Toby boggled, snagging a forkful of pasta. "Is there anything specific you wanted to check out tomorrow?"

"Think I saw something about a helicopter tour." Kenzi took another bite of shrimp and rolled her eyes happily. "Which, this may be my only chance, if I don't steal one sometime."
