Friday, after classes: Leaving school

Buffy had her bag ready and was waiting nervously for the portal to appear, as well as the other cheerleaders of course. But she expected they would. Otherwise it would be shiny sharp axe thing time for them. Her head was full of everything that had to go right, and she had several copies of the song just to be sure, and what if something happened to the uniforms?

She shuddered at this horrible thought. With all this on her mind, she'd completely forgotten to arrange a sitter for Berthold, and it still didn't occur to her because now people were arriving.

Tori appeared, her bag slung over her shoulder with everything she needed for the trip. She had double and triple checked to make sure.

Aly was there. She had her bag. She also had much, much hope that whatever was causing her to become miniature would stop when she left Fandom. Because a five year old Coach might not be such a good idea.

Molly ran up with her bag shortly before the portal was supposed to arrive. "Made it!" she said.

Chad's head tilted a bit at the portal. Definately quicker than a bus. He hoped there wouldn't be some, like, mid-teir area where they'd all die if they didn't make it through fast enough. He's done that one already, and it sucked.

At least he was feeling better, though.

Hamlet arrived at the meet up spot with a (black) overnight bag in tow. A portal, hmm? He was impressed. The cheer team captains knew how to do things with style.

Rikku had a hastily packed bag and was staring at the portal. This one was safe, right? Not going to lead to a temporal whatsit or anything? Right. Totally. She waved to Buffy and tried not to look nervous.

Buffy just held her ticket out as she walked through, since she had no idea how this worked. That seemed to do it though because she could walk though just fine.

It's on the parking lot where the portal spat you out. It's big and comfortable and the driver seems nice. There's a small coffee/cocoa/tea machine in front of the bus, a bathroom at the back, and the backs of the chair can be turned down for comfortable napping positions.

After her bags were stored away securely, Annette fixed herself a cup of hot cocoa and sat down in one of the nice, comfortable chairs.
