Friday, after classes: Leaving school

Buffy had her bag ready and was waiting nervously for the portal to appear, as well as the other cheerleaders of course. But she expected they would. Otherwise it would be shiny sharp axe thing time for them. Her head was full of everything that had to go right, and she had several copies of the song just to be sure, and what if something happened to the uniforms?

She shuddered at this horrible thought. With all this on her mind, she'd completely forgotten to arrange a sitter for Berthold, and it still didn't occur to her because now people were arriving.

It's on the parking lot where the portal spat you out. It's big and comfortable and the driver seems nice. There's a small coffee/cocoa/tea machine in front of the bus, a bathroom at the back, and the backs of the chair can be turned down for comfortable napping positions.

Arrive at the hotel

Buffy just held her ticket out as she walked through, since she had no idea how this worked. That seemed to do it though because she could walk though just fine.

Tori appeared, her bag slung over her shoulder with everything she needed for the trip. She had double and triple checked to make sure.

"Hey Buffy." Tori waved.

Annette kind of stared at the portal, kind of in awe. But she was smiling, because yay! Cheer trip!

Annette beamed right back, even did a little bounce in excitement. "I have everything. I'm sure of it." She'd triple checked, so hopefully she was good to go.

"Good! I do too! At least, I did the last five times I checked," Buffy said, looking a little sheepish. She really wanted this to go perfectly though.

She grinned at Buffy's sheepish look and admitted, "I think I made sure I had everthing for my cheerleader outfit first. And I kept checking, cause you know, that is most important." Annette was excited, but feeling a little anxious as well.

Tori had her ticket in her hand and stared at the portal for a few moments before walking through. She had never done something like that before and it seemed to work.

After her bags were stored away securely, Annette fixed herself a cup of hot cocoa and sat down in one of the nice, comfortable chairs.
