Parking lot by the causeway and beyond, 5:00

It was worth paying the extra money to have the car delivered Isabel thought as she loaded her bag into the back of the Suburban. The carnival was too much fun, she wouldn't have wanted to miss it.

Looking at her watch, she hoped the others would get there soon. They had a five hour drive ahead of them and that didn't include stopping for dinner.

"You might have to," he laughs. "I'm completely unsure how coordinated I'll be. I can fly on a broom with ease but I fear rafting might be a weakness."

"I went once, and it was a lot of fun," Sam tried to help him relax, "it wasn't much like flying as I know it, but it's just water--you're too busy paddling to do much else."

Sam blushed. "Yeah, we'll see how that turns out. But there's always sleeping away from the tent, if he hits an overload on...being good."
