Fandom's dimension [Late evening]

It would be difficult for the people in Fandom to learn from their televisions tonight, being that they were showing all gremlin bites all the time, but the Nothing was edging ever closer.

The meteorologists on CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and other cable shows blithely discussed the weather on their massive maps, oblivious to the fact that Asia, Australia, and Africa used to be much larger than what they were showing. Mile by mile, inch by inch, the Nothing was creeping up on Fandom, devouring all in its path.

If you were ever inclined to have a bad feeling about things, now would be the time.

As Zayne cleaned up around his apartment late at night, he had a bad feeling about something. Weird.

Jaina was headed back to the hotel after an extra long workout at the gym- hush, it made her feel better- and stopped not far from the entrance.

Karla had nodded off after an emotional day. Her dreams had been normal, if troubled for most of the evening.

As evening turned to night, however, threads of prophecy began weave their way into those normal-if-troubled dreams, tangling them up and turning them to unnatural-while-still-troubling.

Rather than a dream where she was forever running to something and never getting there, Karla began to dream she was running away from something, the land crying out as it crumbled beneath her feet and fell into darkness.

Francine had a bad feeling too, but it was arguable that it came from the nine cupcakes she ate before bed to try to get rid of the bad feeling she'd had all day. So. Nothing, cupcakes, who knows.

Phoebe had been having bad dreams since she lost Piper, but tonight, her sleep was even more restless and moved her head and tossed restlessly a lot. Even in her dreams, she was getting a bad feeling, but her dreams weren't leading to visions that would usually tell her what was coming.

Cassidy couldn't sleep, so she was out in the gardens, letting herself bond and commune with the land again. Ender had been right to remind her how much she needed this. She was placing cuts in her palms to feed the plants and strengthen the bond when she stiffened. She looked up and then got to her feet, looking around. She didn't know what was bothering her and she didn't see anything different, but all of her senses said that there was something very wrong and she had a bad feeling about whatever was coming.
