"Yay rocks," Rory said, reaching out to run a hand over the stones. "And I'm going to hell for...oh, I don't know. Something involving grand theft auto or something. Something interesting."

"But make sure it's fuzzy and undetermined and toward the rocks," Zero adds. "We'll have to follow you. To rescue you from head trauma against a rock, of course."

Parker widened her eyes and ostentatiously looked in the other direction for a few minutes, then gasped. "Zero! Where's Rory? I thought she was with you?"

Zero looked up from the map (which, incidentally, she'd been holding upside down) and said, "I thought you were supposed to be watching her!"

"Oh, no! Look around, we have to find her before she wanders in front of a bus!" Parker turned and started stalking toward the rocks, keeping an eye out for Security types.

Zero looped around a little bit before heading for the rocks as well. They should've gotten someone to serve as a distraction for security, she thought, but too late now. "Rory? Rory, where are you?"

"Zero? Zero, is that you?" Rory called, waving her hands around.

"Yes, Rory! It's me! Come toward my voice!" As she said this, Zero was furiously waving toward the stones, away from her.

Rory, sad blind girl she was, wandered towards the stones. "Am I going in the right direction?" she yelled.

"Rory, no!" Parker said semi-scoldingly. "Wrong way! Oh, never mind-- we'll just show you." Glancing over her shoulder, she added in a lower voice, "And we better make it fast, someone's going to notice soon."

Zero dashed over and snapped several photos of her surroundings--wow, they were big close up--before taking Rory's elbow. "Come on, we'll just get you back to the designated area..."

Rory pulled out her own camera and snapped a picture before nodding. "Oh yes, lead me back to, um, safety!"

Parker took a snap of both of them, with the huge stones in the background, then one of herself, and then blinked. "Right, time to lead the blind chick out of here--"

Oops.

"What do you three think you're doing, enh?" The security guard looked very unhappy.

Rory may not have been a good liar.

But she could think on her feet.

"Parker, Zero, who is that?" she asked, waving a hand out in front of her. "Wish I'd thought to bring my cane."

"It's the nice Security Man, come to lead us out of here," Parker responded while Zero looked wee and cute and helpful. "I'm sorry, sir, she got distracted and headed the wrong direction. We'll just be going now."

Haarrrumph. The guard paced them all the way to the Parking Lot.

"Thank you so much, sir!" Zero said as they got to the entrance. "Oh look, our Tour Bus!"

"Yay!" Rory said, waving in the completely wrong direction. "Thank you Mr. Security Man!"

"Don't be thinkin' you're foolin' me, girlies. Just get gone." He stomped off as Parker let out a huge breath of relief.

"Heh. One more island we're *not* banned from." She grinned. "Excellent."
