Kohala Coast, Hawaii - Morning & Afternoon - Friday - February 25th

With only two days of vacation left, time was running out for the guests to enjoy the blue skies and warm ocean breeze of Hawaii. Luckily, there were still plenty of things to do at the resort, for anyone who wasn't worn out from all the fun yet!

"Mostly they call me 'tiny' and describe my eyes as orbs," she complained. "...You sound like you've read a few of these."

"Nothing about you!" Tahiri said quickly. "But there's stories like that about Rumor Gal and things like that, and they're the same way."

Jaina couldn't help but smirk a little. "You read a lot of stories about Rumor Gal, Tahiri?"
weetuskenraider: (Orly?)

"Only a couple," Tahiri said defensively. "The Galaxy Quest ones have much more of a terrifying fascination."

Now the smirk turned into a smile, though she had to say, "I'm not sure I want to ask, but I almost want to ask."

Tahiri made a face. "It's the ones where they write about the cast members having all kinds of torrid affairs behind the scenes . . ."

She could just die of embarrassment now.

"That's the kind of stuff I've been finding!" Jaina said, jaw dropped. "So this is what you do in your spare time..."

Tahiri was pretty sure she couldn't get brighter red. "I'll never get to make fun of you for spending all your vacations working out now, will I?"
solo_sword: (pleased)

"No. For several reasons, including the headache I have now and the reason for it," she said. "But mostly for that."
weetuskenraider: (Look I Know How to Smile)

"Now I have to know how you ended up with the headache," Tahiri told her, trying hard not to smirk a little.

"I got together with Grandfather and Rory and Tiny Mom, we started out with margaritas, and then the tequila came out when Mom started reading bits from stories about Grandfather," Jaina said. "When they turned out to be stories about him with Obi-wan, I figured I could break some of my rules for drinking if there was any chance I could black out and remember none of it."

Clearly that did not work.
weetuskenraider: (Um WHOA)

"Leia's read stories about your grandfather and Master Kenobi." Never mind that Tahiri was horrible at holding her liquor; tequila sounded so good right now. "There are stories about your grandfather and Master Kenobi. I don't know which of those things is more terrifying."

"She didn't seem to know what that particular story was about when she started," Jaina said. "Though that didn't stop the reading for a while. I really wish I'd blacked out and remembered none of it."
