Kohala Coast, Hawaii - Morning & Afternoon - Friday - February 25th

With only two days of vacation left, time was running out for the guests to enjoy the blue skies and warm ocean breeze of Hawaii. Luckily, there were still plenty of things to do at the resort, for anyone who wasn't worn out from all the fun yet!

"Aloe?" Sov walked over to Juliet and sat down on the sand next to her.

"It's a plant," Juliet explained importantly, pulling the tube of gloppy green stuff out with a flourish. "It's ... I don't know, magic or something? It makes burns heal much, much faster."

"Really?" Sove extended an arm. The skin had started to peel. "The sun is really strong, so I guess people here have learnt what helps. You don't get sunburn? Or are you using a lot of those sunblock creams?" Sov had discovered those, luckily.

Juliet carefully dotted some lotion along Sov's skin for them to rub in. "A ton of sunblock," she answered. "Loads and loads. And a hat. And I go inside every few hours. Otherwise, I'd be redder than you are."

"So it's not just me then." Sov rubbed the aloe into their arm. It felt cool and pleasant. "Th warm water is great, though. At home it's always freezing cold."

"All year round?" Juliet asked, seeming to find this incredibly unfortunate. "Or just when it's winter, like this? Not that this is really winter."

"All year round," Sov replied. "The water from the river comes directly from the ice." They laughed. "So we only try and swim if there's a bet involved or something."

"You," Juliet said, completely serious, "should build a heated swimming pool."

[OOC; Heading home, back in a few hours!]

Sov paused, looking at Juliet to try and figure out if she was joking. "It would be very wasteful trying to heat it."

[and I might be in bed by then! :)]

"A swimming pool?" Juliet said. "It couldn't cost that much. It's just like ... a really big bathtub."

Sov blinked. "But they're... big!"
