Kohala Coast, Hawaii - Morning & Afternoon - Friday - February 25th

With only two days of vacation left, time was running out for the guests to enjoy the blue skies and warm ocean breeze of Hawaii. Luckily, there were still plenty of things to do at the resort, for anyone who wasn't worn out from all the fun yet!

Her roommate, however, was just slightly oblivious as she threw open the curtains to let the sun into the room that morning.

She grinned as she looked out at the beautiful view. It really was a special place, here. She even let out a happy little sigh.

She wasn't being noisy. Honest.

Leia groaned, pulling her pillow over her head. "Turn off the light," she begged.

Elphaba looked over, a look of confusion on her face. But then she obliged and shut the curtains.

"I did not mean to wake you," she apologized. "But I do hope you don't intend to spend all of this beautiful day in bed."

"I'm not getting up at all today if I can help it," Leia whimpered.

Her classmates back on Alderaan willingly did this to themselves on a weekly (or nightly) basis? Were they all insane?

"Are you not well?" Elphaba asked, concerned for Leia. "Should I fetch a doctor or some soup?"

It seemed all so awful to fall ill on such a beautiful trip, Elphaba thought.

"I don't think a doctor is going to help me much," Leia groaned. "My head is killing me."

Tequila was evil.

"Some aspirin, then," Elphaba decided. "Though... are you prone to migraines? I know very little about them, other than that they can be quite vexing. Does... does aspirin help with migraines? I know little of medicine either, I'm afraid."

"I drank too much tequila last night," Leia said miserably, curling into a ball on the bed. "And now I'm paying the price."

"Oh dear," Elphaba said. "Well, at least this might be a learning experience." She meant that earnestly, not judgingly. "I'm not too familiar with hangovers either, I'm afraid. Is there a remedy that you prefer to utilize? I could fetch what you need while you remain abed."

"I don't know," Leia confessed. She'd never been this hungover before, and the thoughts of the remedies her former classmates had tried in order to avoid seeing a real doctor about it made her stomach turn even more. "Water, I think helps."

"Then I'll fetch you a glass," Elphaba said, making sure the curtains were securely closed so light would accidentally let itself in. "I am very sorry you are so vexed, Leia."

And with that, she hurried off to fetch a glass of water, returning a few minutes later with it.

"Here," she said, taking it to Leia's bedside.

"Thank you," Leia said, taking the glass and gulping it down. Hydration was good, and her stomach complained but didn't refuse it.

"That's very kind of you," she added. She'd been slightly less than nice to hungover roommates in the past, but they'd deserved her scorn.
