With the approach of evening, the temperature outside didn't so much drop as glide gracefully down a few degrees. Still plenty warm enough for moonlit walks along the beach, strolling through the streets of Waikoloa Village to visit the brightly-lit restaurants, or dancing the night away at one of the local clubs!

Dining

Even if you don't have a taste for the elegant dining experience of Brown's Beach House or the best sushi on the Big Island at Norio's, you'll surely find something to please your palate among the numerous local eateries!

Norio's

Jaime had gone back and forth on his dinner decision pretty much since he'd told Momoko that he was buying tonight. On the one hand, Jaime didn't eat a lot of Japanese food, and it would be cool to get to know a bit more about the stuff they ate where she was from. On the other hand, it was possible that it would be terribly Americanized Japanese food and not only would it not teach him anything, but it might make Momoko roll her eyes and laugh at him for th inking it was even close to authentic. On the other other hand, maybe it really would be at least somewhat authentic and would remind Momoko of home in a good way. On the other other other hand, it might be authentic enough to make her homesick.

Somewhere in there, probably around the time he was considering the hand that had six or seven 'other's attached to it, Jaime just decided to go for it. After all, what was the worst that could happen? So, at the appointed time he met Momoko at their room and led her over to Norio's, insisting that dinner was 'a surprise' tonight.

He hoped this didn't come back and bite him.

Like Momoko would care about any of that? If she was concerned (or thought he was) about authentic, she would simply take him home!

Was she was concerned about, though, was how he seemed a bit weird about dinner, which was totally feeding into her mood and she was trying to shrug it off by guessing where they were going. And having no luck. At least not until she recognized the koi pond.

"Ah! Here?" She reached out for his arm to tug. "Here?!" Momoko had been past the restaurant a time or two on her walks and wondered about it, but hadn't tried it. "Really?" Did Jaime even like Japanese food?

If he was teasing and they were just here to feed the fish and then go somewhere else, she was totally going to hit him.

"Um... we don't have to? I mean... if you don't want..." Someone sounded a bit defeated.

It was vacation, so naturally people on vacation should spend time with the members of their family.

And copious amounts of alcohol, at least in Anakin's mind, which was why he'd staked out a table and a pitcher of margaritas and waited for the members of the Skywalker-Solo clan to make their appearances.

Anakin would be pleased that Leia was wearing more now than she had been on the beach, since she had a white sarong with green palm leaves and pink hibiscus flowers wrapped around her, and a hibiscus in her hair. She also had her datapad with her, but that would be for later.

"Are board games usually involved?" she asked, overhearing Jaina as she arrived.

The Blue Dragon Musiquarium

If you're in the mood for some music and dancing under the stars after dinner, head over to the Blue Dragon, where tonight's performers are Moon Landing, featuring saxophonist Moon Brown (nephew of legendary jazz trumpeter Clifford Brown), vocalist Maelan Abran, Gary Washburn on keyboard and Bruce David on drums.

Jane had spent quite a great deal of time appreciating the animal and plant culture of these fascinating islands, and far be it from her to not appreciate the human culture as well. She was quite pleased to drop in for a little bit of a drink and to enjoy the music and...in more wistful moments...think even that someone might ask her dance.

Kahakai Bar

Lazing by the ocean with a drink in the Kahakai Bar Oceanfront is a less energetic but no less enjoyable option.

The bar last night hadn't been bad so Bod was back there again tonight, sitting facing the ocean again with a drink in his hand. He might have glanced around idly for someone specific but when he didn't see her, he just thought she'd gone elsewhere tonight.

His eyes went back to the ocean.

Puck was up for a lazy evening at the bar, again. Hey, the fact that he could drink beer, here by the beach, after napping on the beach all day? Kind of making this the best vacation ever. Even better than Vail, and he'd gotten to see George heal herself then!

Group Stargazing

The stars weren't really Percy's thing but the activity sounded interesting and even if he didn't want to fly, he could look. Just like the ocean, the sky was vast too and Percy made sure to be properly respectful of Zeus' domain.

Kūkaku liked star-gazing, so shoot her. Those mother fuckers could give an explosion unlike anything you could see here on Earth, that was for sure. She wasn't really paying attention to what was being said, but she was enjoying the view.

Like the last time, Jason wasn't paying a ton of attention to what was being said. He was perfectly content to stare up at the stars, watch the sky, and just get lost in his thoughts. It was a good way to spend an evening, in his opinion.
