They probably both made a lot of assumptions about each other. And those assumptions seemed to start arguments which seemed to be how they ended up ended up in their sometimes vicious cycle.

And see, she didn't have to deal with any rejection because there weren't many times he was going to reject her. Nathan was already trying to move closer to her even if the sand wasn't making that easy. He wasn't about to fucking move away, not now, not after he'd started kissing her and she was trying to get herself closer to him and he so did not care about the public location or his previous bitchiness.
