Kohala Coast, Hawaii | Morning & Afternoon | Sunday | February 20
As the group from Fandom arrived, they would immediately be met by the bright, warm sunshine of the Big Island. Sparkling blue waters could be seen off in the distance surrounded by the white sands of the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.
The Fairmont Orchid loomed close by, big and bright against the perfect blue sky. The accommodations for the group were spectacular as always. Palms trees decorated the front of the gorgeous hotel, giving it that authentic Hawaiian feel. Maybe there was a lei or two in the future of some of those in the Fandom group? You never know!
The staff of the hotel was there to greet the group, making sure everyone felt welcomed and attended to during their stay. Once the rooms were discovered and the bags were stowed, it was time to start Spring Break!
Have fun everyone!

Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
At least, he hoped that it wouldn't. What were the odds of him falling in and drowning in water this shallow?
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
"I'm going to stand up, manage that for a whole two seconds, and then fall in. And then you're going to laugh at me, and all of the girls on the shore who were watching me earlier aren't going to ever look at me again, you know that, right?"
Yes, that was pretty much how it was going to work, Warren.
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
He really, really hoped that nobody was planning on surfing past him right now, because his wings were fully spread behind him. All the better for keeping his balance, here.
... Even if it would be kind of funny to see some guy get clotheslined by random invisible feathers.
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
Okay. Moment of truth. Standing up! Could Warren do it? He was halfway there! Just a little more! A little more!
And there was some more frantic flapping and cartwheeling of his arms, but at least he was still standing.
You could hear the giggling on the shore from here.
Re: THE Beach
"There you go, dude!" he said encouragingly.
Re: THE Beach
Because it was apparently awesome? If he wanted to feel like he was flying, he'd just fly.
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
It would make him feel less silly, right now.
Re: THE Beach
"But you shoulda seen me when I had to re-learn how to skate. Falling down every five seconds. I'm still not very good at it." At least, when he was wearing proper skates.
Re: THE Beach
"I really need to get out more, I guess."
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
He shouldn't have chuckled, because that was right about the point that he lost his balance and toppled over backward.
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
"Okay, now I know exactly what 'drowned rat' feels like."
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
"What would chase us, here?" Because yes, Warren really had to ask these things, while he pulled himself back up onto the board. "Besides sharks, I guess."
Re: THE Beach
"Giant sharks," Bobby added. "Mutant butterflies with teeth. Dinosaurs. Or, you know, the island itself..."
Bobby led a strange life in general, really.
Re: THE Beach
Warren was beginning to see that!
"Seriously?"
Re: THE Beach
Re: THE Beach
"How does that even work?"
