As the group from Fandom arrived, they would immediately be met by the bright, warm sunshine of the Big Island. Sparkling blue waters could be seen off in the distance surrounded by the white sands of the beautiful beaches of Hawaii.

The Fairmont Orchid loomed close by, big and bright against the perfect blue sky. The accommodations for the group were spectacular as always. Palms trees decorated the front of the gorgeous hotel, giving it that authentic Hawaiian feel. Maybe there was a lei or two in the future of some of those in the Fandom group? You never know!

The staff of the hotel was there to greet the group, making sure everyone felt welcomed and attended to during their stay. Once the rooms were discovered and the bags were stowed, it was time to start Spring Break!

"Do I get to pick my side of the bed, too?" he asked, cheeks going a little pink.

Tahiri turned a little red, too, when he just had to go and point out that singular bed. (It was nice! Really! Just -- meep.)

"Yes. Yes, you can pick your side," she stammered. "Although I don't know what we're going to do if we end up both wanting the same side of it."

"Since flipping a credit is kind of pointless when both parties are telekinetic," he replied, nodding.

"We could wrestle for it," Tahiri suggested innocently.

Or not so innocently.

Ben's lips curled up in a smile. "Oh really."

"Yes, really," Tahiri replied, which was less coy and more just dorky when she was blushing that furiously.

Ben reached out to tickle her.

Like a dork.

Fine, then, Tahiri just tried to tackle him onto the bed. Also, still, like a dork.

Ben burst out giggling and blew a raspberry on her neck.

Tahiri yelped and tried to flip them over and pin him down. "I guess this means we're fighting for which side of the bed, then?"

"Guess so," Ben said as he was flipped. "Unless you can think of something else you want to do?"

"We are sharing this bed all week, dummy," Tahiri pointed out, smirking down at him. "Even if it is big enough for five people, fighting over one side of it seems pretty silly. But now that we're here . . ."

"You want me to find another couple of people?" he teased.

"Oh, well, if you get really bored, I suppose maybe," Tahiri pretended to concede, then stuck her tongue out at him. "Either that, or you can go out exploring and see if some of the native life tries to eat you."

"I like here better," Ben decided immediately. "Here has a mini-bar. Oh, and a pretty girl sitting on me."

"So we won't need Karla to show up and magically lock us in this time?" Tahiri asked.

Not that she wasn't grateful for that, mind you.

"Not this time," Ben said, smiling back at her and running his fingers along her back. "No kids, no monkeys...we might actually get somewhere on our own today."

"It's been too long," Tahiri said with a mild note of complaint. "You better not have just guaranteed that something weird was going to happen on vacation like it did last time, with half the school changing gender the day we were supposed to leave."

Ben shuddered. "That was a very awkward day."

And the understatement award goes to...

"You don't say," Tahiri replied dryly, nipping at his ear. "And it had better not happen again, because ugh."

Ben shivered. "You were a kind of cute boy?" he offered, babbling mostly incoherently.

"You're a frighteningly adorable girl like that," Tahiri replied, nipping at his ear again.

This explained so much about both of them somehow . . .

"Karla was jealous of my breasts," Ben said because that was totally relevant to this conversation.

"I liked them," Tahiri said, for all the sense it made, but since relevance was no longer a concern for this conversation . . .

"They were kind of bouncy," Ben replied. "I don't know how you get anything done when you exercise. They'll all...there."

No one had told him about sports bras, no.
