"Maybe we sneak in with them," Marty said moving foward with the group. His hand might have slipped down to the small of Angela's back as he moved forward.

"Maybe we do," Angela agreed, glancing at the clerk waving the group ahead. "We can look casual, right?"

She might have leaned against him as they walked ahead. After all, it is pretty cold.

Unforunately the guard put up the velvet rope right before they could enter. "Oh well, at least we're next," Marty sighed as he slipped his arm around Angela's waist and looking up at the building in front of them. "Is there anything else you want to do today?"
chasingangela: (color face)

"I'm not sure what we'll have time for," Angela said. "Did Parker talk to you about the thing that girl told me at the Watchers' HQ? I think I forgot to tell you last night."

"Girl? No I was poking through some watcher journals last night and must have missed it. Who did you run into?" Marty asked.
chasingangela: (emo redhead)

"Some girl called Amanda from Sunnydale. I guess she works there, or something. She said this old watcher, Roger Wyndam-Pryce, had taken most of the good books to his house. Which is kind of typical," Angela sighed.

"Anyhow, we're supposed to try to find those books today. Parker'll probably be around when we get back to the hotel. I have no idea if there's a plan or what."

The velvet rope comes up, and they are waved through to the ticket booth. "Two students, please?" Angela told the attendant.

A young woman in period garb is sitting in a window atop the Bloody Tower.

She looks down on the young couple entering the grounds while strumming a lute.

Noticing the motion from the corner of her eye, Angela tugged on Marty's sleeve. "Look, they have actors playing prisoners. Pretty cool."

"Wyndam-Pryce? Where have I heard that name before?"

Marty looked where Angela gesturing but doesn't see anything. "Where?"

The window is empty.

She must have moved into the room to talk to tourists or something.

Right?

"She's gone now," Angela shrugged. "And you know the name because his son Wesley used to go to school with us. Parker and Janet liked to torture him."

They're moving into the bowels of the tower now. "Okay, this is pretty cool," Angela said, glancing around at the stone walls. "Spooky, but cool."

"There's supposed to be several ghosts that haunt this place," Marty commented as he read the brochure he had picked up. "Including a ghost of a bear. Huh. You know, I think that's the one thing we haven't run into at Fandom high."

"What, ghostly bears?" Angela asked. "Maybe they sell stuffed ones, to keep Maurice company."

She grabbed the brochure. "Can we see the jewel house next?"

"Sure we can go check that out," Marty replied. "I wonder if we'll see the ghost bear and the legend behind it is."

Marty does not appear to hear the music.

"Bear-baiting, maybe?" Angela guessed. "I mean, if I were a bear and died that way, I'd be pissed enough to hang around and maul people."

She thrust her fists in her pockets. "So do you believe in ghosts?"

Marty shrugged. "If you had asked me a year before I came to Fandom High I would have told you a different answer. Now? I'd have to say anything is possible. I'm not so sure of ghosts existing where I came from, but at FH? Definitely.
