When the Fandom High travelers were dropped off by the Portalocity portal, they would notice that the drop off location was not a normal Portalocity lounge.

Upon exiting, they would find themselves in a rather different looking San Francisco than they were expecting. Anyone with powers would want to be wary of the flying probes lest they catch the attention of the wrong kind of people.

Asking about the Halliwell family would lead them to the Family Manor which was now a museum.

Yes, they are in the wrong place and time and will need to figure out how to survive on their own.

This is not the City by the Bay that Dinah had been expecting from the brochures. Even if the outlines of the place were still visible through the explosion and fire damage.

"Guys? Anyone got a theory? Please?"

"My theory is that we turn around and get a portal right back out of here," Joan said oh-so-helpfully.

"Plan!" Dinah whipped out her phone and said, "First one to get a portal gets free drinks for a week."

"Neither do I." Dinah looked up, and said, "How long were we expecting to stay here again?"

Joan pulled out her pass and checked it. "Um, three days."

Dinah's eyes already stung from the drifting smoke, and she took a breath. "Okay. We should find someplace that looks... stable, and hole up 'til the portal gets here. I think."

"At least we're not stuck here for a whole week," Joan said with a nod of agreement to Dinah's plan.

"If we were supposed to be here a week, I'd build a raft and vote we paddle to Tokyo," Dinah said, shifting her bags on her shoulder. "Map, map, we need a map. Or, well. Maybe we should just head to the place that least looks least-trashed."

Tony stared out at the view. "It could be bunnies?" he suggested, pulling out his phone to check for a signal.

"Evil bunnies from Hell?" Dinah asked, shading her eyes and looking across the hills. "How the heck could Portalocity screw this up so badly?"

"Man, do I look like a portalologist?" Tony shifted his backpack on his shoulder. "I think we should find cover."

"Yeah. Although where exactly... higher ground, maybe?" Dinah blinked, then squinted into the smoke. "I swear I saw something flying over there. Something small."

"Where?" Tony asked, looking around. If he could see it, he might be able to call it to his hand.

"Silver, right there, a flash of it, high up--" Dinah pointed where light flashed off a quick-moving object.

Tony reached out his hand to call it and stopped himself at the last moment. "I think that's a camera," he said. "Don't know if we want to advertise that we're here."

"Oooooo very valid point," Dinah said, voice going subdued. "Okay. Moving out. Plan. Other plans to follow."

But the probe had spotted them and relayed the information, and now a demon shimmered in in front of them. "What are you doing in this area?" he demanded. "It's restricted."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Tony said. "We took a wrong turn. On our way back now!" To where, he had no idea.

Dinah wished she could so some kind of, Papers? We don't need papers! on the guy, but settled for the dumb blonde act of, "Which ones? We've got the passports, and the bills, and the credit card receipts, and the maps, and the..."

"Your identification papers," the demon said, giving Dinah a bitch, please look. "Now."

Well, maybe this wasn't as bad as it looked. Tony dug his passport from his pocket and showed it to the guy.

The demon flipped it open and took a look. "Who are you trying to fool?" he laughed. "This is expired and you're way too young for this date of birth."

Tony took his passport back and looked at it. "What? No, this expires in 2019." He suspected they might've taken a time jump somewhere, but maybe the guy would be nice and tell them the year?
