Chuck had promised Ellie he'd at least go in for swimming with dolphins, even if the idea of going near sharks was a little much, so here he was, ready to spend a day with them.

Once in a lifetime, this sort of thing, and there was definitely some excitement in there for that.

Helen was here with Hinata, Kianah left safely behind in the room for this excursion. It wasn't something Helen would have done on her own, but she had to admit that it did sound fun.

Sleeping on the beach to keep Hayley company during the night had thrown her off her schedule just a bit.

Mat was hanging out casually by the sea lions.

He certainly wasn't doing anything ridiculous like casing the joint, or seeing which trainer looked most amenable to allowing him to buy a sea lion from him.

Aravis showed up wearing her one and only pair of jeans and a t-shirt, of all things. She figured that in order to transport a sea lion, one had to be outfitted properly. "And hello to you," she greeted Mat.

Didi had decided the Trainer for a Day program was the Best Thing Ever, and was irritating her Marine Mammal Specialist with all sorts of questions about what dolphisn ate, where they lived, and whether it would be possible to keep one as a pet in Maryland.

The Marine Mammal Specialist was going to be grateful when Didi's turn was over.

For once, Hoshi managed to forget about the book waiting for her in her room. There was something really special about swimming with the dolphins. She was really glad she got to do this.

Kate wasn't at the beach this morning.

Instead, she was here, currently being mesmerized by the lionfish. She wasn't usually one to be too into the wonders of nature, but they were just so pretty.

... And she was going to stay the hell away from the eel exhibit. Damn things were too snake-like.

The Grouper exhibit caught Bod's attention just for the sheer size of some of the fish. One hand pressed to the glass, he watched the fish swim back and forth, looking effortless despite their size.

Robin hadn't gone to look at the fishies yet, so that was what she was doing with her morning. When she came to the seahorses, she was utterly delighted to find out that the males carried the babies. "Almost as cute as penguins," she told the seahorses, peering in at them. "Almost. You're still too weird-looking, but props for cute progressiveness."

Jacob found himself at the Stingray Lagoon at feeding time and from the look of the other guests, it seemed to be fun. So he got a bit of fish and ended up joining in. The rays were kind of ugly, but he was surprised at how frigging soft they were too.

Alex decided to visit the marine habitat before hitting the beach. And she was glad she did. The lionfish were mesmerizing.

Joolushko wasn't sure why the fish were living in fake ruins in The Dig, but she was enjoying herself nonetheless. It was pretty and the fake ruins were quite nice as far as that sort of things goes. She particularly enjoyed watching the jellyfish floating around.

Leda woke up on the wrong side of the lounge chair this morning.

"They discovered the lost city of Atlantis and build a fucking resort around it?"

A nearby mother with a small child gave her a scandalized look. Leda looked her in the eye and brushed her hair back behind her very pointed ears. That scared her off.

Leda did actually know the ruins weren't real. She was just feeling grumpy and bitter.

Aquaventure Water Park

The Current

And Kate's afternoon was mostly spent around Aquaventure. The Current was still her favourite, because it was kind of mellow but the rapids still made her squeal and laugh.

And, occasionally, topple out of the innertube.

Cain at the Cove

Technically, Hannibal was an adult and, technically, that meant he was perfectly able to be taking advantage of this secluded place (http://www.atlantis.com/accommodations/thecoveatlantis/cainatthecove.aspx).

After grabbing a drink from the conveniently located bar, Hannibal flopped down on one of the day beds and stretched out. He was beginning to seriously contemplate just hiding out and living here forever.

Mayan Temple Pool

Today, Ellie spent the day at the water park. After checking out some of the slides, she was now relaxing by one of the pools. Maybe she would even go swimming.
