Nadia shouldn't have taken that left turn at Albuquerque
not that her character would even get that joke
.
She'd somehow managed to lose the "main strip" of Diagon Alley and end up somewhere a lot . . . creepier.
She shoved her hands in her pocket and turned slowly, taking in the place, her curiosity overcoming some of her common sense.
A quick look around couldn't hurt.
