A blond guy in a trench coat stands on a corner smoking.

He's looking around and possibly talking to himself.

He keeps looking down at an empty bench as if somebody is sitting there.

Nadia smiled slightly as she spotted the Trench-coat guy. Ahhhh, crazy people.

A woman with pale skin and dark hair comes up to the Blond Guy with a kid that looks oddly like that "Potter" guy from Fandom. (If you've met Harry that is.) Except not. Because Books of Magic is waaaay better then HP!

The blond man leads the kid through the crowd, right past Nadia.

"So how has the rest of the 'Trench Coat Brigade' been treating ya kid?" he asks as they round the corner.

The pale woman watches them leave. She catches Nadia's eye, gives her a smile and a wink.

Then she's gone.

Nadia blinked, her happy smile slightly diminished by the wacky. Then she shook her head and moved on.

Ah. Crazy people. So much like home.

Mac has obviously been trawling the stalls and has a bag under one arm. "I love this place, I handwavily bought this awesome bright turquoise laptop case." She grins and pats her bag. "You seen anything interesting yet?"

"Interesting, yeah." Nadia held up a pendant she had *handwaved* snagged from one of the stalls. It was an intricate silver cross. "What do you think?"

"Ooh, shiny." She grinned, "nice find. This place is just full of little gems if you look hard enough."

"Hey, I need to find something souvenir-y for my brother. You're a guy, what do you think he'd like?"

"Well, um," Nadia spotted a pair of nice looking combat boots and glanced around for a shop keeper. She'd need some shoes that fit, someone was bound to notice that she was wearing three pairs of socks. "How old is he?"

The coast was clear, except for Mac. She just had to distract her somehow.

"Oh, he's eleven," she rolled her eyes, "and a total pain, but he'll be worse if I don't at least pick up something for him while I'm over here." She started poking around at some items on a nearby stall. "I have no idea when it comes to buying him stuff."

Nadia knew next to nothing about young boys. "Maybe some toy soldiers or something? Like one of the ones at the Tower of London?"

Nadia gave up on the boots for now. She'd have to figure something else out for covering her feet.

Mac nodded, "that's a plan. I was thinking also maybe a T-shirt or something. They always look fun."

"The tower really needs to be added to my list of places to go I think. Have you been there before?"
