The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship - Evening and On]

The ship had returned to sea at 5pm, horns blaring as they exited the port, headed for a full Tuesday at sea. Of course, the day wasn't over for the people aboard. But whether they were in the mood for a cozy space to sip cocktails with someone special or a swanky place to savor a cigar and make new friends, Crown Princess was ready to provide the evening with plenty of entertainment.

"I had a little rest before I came out too," Angela admitted. "It's weird how tiring just a little bit of swimming and a whole lot of sunbathing can be."

"... Which is not to say, I don't love this."

"I know it!" she grinned wide. "Sunbathing is soooo exhausting. But I wouldn't change a thing. I'm loving this place and am going to loathe leaving it. You look great tonight, by the way."

"Aw, thank you!" Angela said brightly. "You look adorable too."

"Did you draw a good roomie straw?" she asked. "Not someone you'll spend the week hiding from?"

Amber giggled. "Totally a good roomie straw. Not the boyfriend, but Lee is so nice and he has amazing arms." Out of the blue. "I mean, you know. Can't help but notice when you're in close proximity with someone. So what about you?"

"Not what I'm used to," she said, with a little laugh. "But very nice. His name's Ben."

"Ben," she repeated. "Haven't met Ben yet. But yay for nice."

"That's what I say," she said, nodding cheerfully. "Can you imagine how much this would suck if you didn't get along with the person?"

"No kidding. I'd almost be willing to sleep on the deck. Or worm my way into Liir's room. Which? I haven't seen yet. I have no idea who his roommate is."

"Nice as sleeping under the stars sounds... I'd go for the boyfriend option," Angela said.

She nodded. "Oh, yah, definitely would try there first. But, wow, the stars are amazing. They seem so brilliant here."

"Probably all to do with being away from the lights and towns and things," Angela said with a nod. "It's gorgeous."

"Might have to sit out and take a good look on a night when I'm feeling a little more lazy."

Amber smiled slowly, agreeing. "That will be something I definitely plan on doing. Wrap up in a shawl with something yummy to drink, and just lounge, taking in the beauty of the night."

A beat.

"What I wouldn't give sometimes to be rich."

"Mm, I was saying that earlier," Angela agreed, smiling. "If I could stay here, sit on a beach catching the sun and drinking fruity cocktails, I really would."

"I would too. Compared to home this is paradise. And you never know, I could try to get a job on a cruise ship," she grinned. "Not my dream, but it's a start." She sipped her drink.

"I think I'd like that sort of thing," Angela said with a nod. "You know, changing places, new people all the time." She grinned. "Sounds kind of fun."

"Not a bad way to spend a living. And if the ship doesn't sink? Well, then excellent!" she grinned, teasing.

"Way to instill confidence, right there," she joked.

"Hey, I'm positive like that," she laughed. "At least I haven't seen any shark fins."

Angela laughed. "That just means the boys are obviously not trying hard enough to freak us all out."

Amber laughed. "And what is up with that? I haven't heard one murmuring the ~~meta for~~ Jaws theme."

"Just give it time," she said. "I'm sure it'll happen."

"I will pounce any boy that scares me half to death," she promised. "Pounce. Him. Good."

"You go, sweetie," Angela told her with a giggle as she sipped at her drink. "They'd deserve it."

"I've already been dunked once. I need to work on some payback for that one."

"I have been too! More than once. Who got you?"

"Hannibal," she replied. "I should never let my guard down."
