The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship - Evening and On]

The ship had returned to sea at 5pm, horns blaring as they exited the port, headed for a full Tuesday at sea. Of course, the day wasn't over for the people aboard. But whether they were in the mood for a cozy space to sip cocktails with someone special or a swanky place to savor a cigar and make new friends, Crown Princess was ready to provide the evening with plenty of entertainment.

Angela was still feeling nicely warmed from a day out in the sun, and after a little time in her room and a change of clothes (http://pics.livejournal.com/flashesforinfo/pic/0001318h), she was totally ready to make the most of the evening, drinking and dancing.

Summer spotted Angela and wandered over. "Hey, Angela. Isn't this awesome?"

She might be a tad excited to actually be old enough to be here.

"It really is!" Angela said, almost gleefully. "A whole week of sunbathing, swimming, shopping and this? I could always go for that."

"I really don't want this to end," Summer said. "This is the best spring break ever!"

"And we're only a day in," Angela laughed. "That bodes well for the week as a whole."

"Tomorrow, I'm thinking I'll hit the shopping opportunities," she said. "In the market for another swimsuit."

"That sounds like a good plan," Summer said. "I could probably used another swimsuit. Or news shoes. Or a cute new bag."

"Want to come with? Maybe tomorrow morning?" she asked. "Always better when you've got someone else to give their opinion on these things."

Summer looked positively gleeful. "There's only one answer to that question. Hell yes!"

Angela grinned at her. "Yay," she said brightly. "I was meaning to get my shopping in before we got here, but got a little distracted."

"I totally get the being distracted, what with the being frustrated all last week..." That was an understatement.

"Oh, my God the no sex thing." Angela pulled a face, "My roommate literally went into hiding." That may have been partially her fault, but she hadn't done it on purpose!

"Considering my roommate is my boyfriend, it was especially frustrating," Summer said. "But hey, that's not a problem anymore and we get to be on a cruise. Things are good."

"Oh, this definitely starts to make up for the whole thing," Angela agreed. "It was about time we all got a break from that sort of thing."

"Definitely," Summer added. "Can I just say it's nice that I can be here without a fake I.D.?"

"My ID is... kind of real?" Angela said after a moment. "It says I was born like, thirty years ago. Which is true, except that I'm not actually that age."

"Oh yeah, the whole weird timelines thing," Summer said. "Mine says I was born 21 years ago actually."

"So you're all set to go, even back home, and it doesn't make you feel like you look old when people accept it."

Summer nodded. "That's always a plus."
