The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship - Evening and On]

The ship had returned to sea at 5pm, horns blaring as they exited the port, headed for a full Tuesday at sea. Of course, the day wasn't over for the people aboard. But whether they were in the mood for a cozy space to sip cocktails with someone special or a swanky place to savor a cigar and make new friends, Crown Princess was ready to provide the evening with plenty of entertainment.

Emmett had plenty of money to throw around so he was doing just that at the casino. He was totally kicking ass at Black Jack.

He felt bad about waving off all the waitresses that were trying to give him free drinks. He couldn't help that he wasn't able to drink alcohol.

"Is blackjack actually fun?" Sookie asked, wandering over and nursing a Diet Coke. She was so hardcore. "It just looks like math."

"It mostly is," Emmett admitted, smiling at her. "Math and magically guessing what card you think is next."

"Yeah, the magic element is why I don't play poker," she said with a grin. "It doesn't seem fair. But blackjack I can do. I just get um, too optimistic."

Emmett chuckled and held a stack of chips out towards her. "You wanna play? I won't get mad if you get too optimistic."

"Are you sure? I mean, you seem to be doing pretty good on your own," she pointed out, eyeing him.

"Nah, I don't care about losing it. I just like playing," Emmett said. He smiled at her. "Playing with good company makes it even better."

"Well. Can't refuse an offer like that," she decided, taking a seat. "And this is one of the ones I can actually do without feeling like I'm cheating! Are you enjoying the whole cruise thing so far, by the way?"

"For the most part, yeah," he said, nodding. He placed a stack of chips next to Sookie. "I'm kind of hiding indoors during the day which kinda sucks but other than that I'm having fun."

Emmett laughed. "Yeah, that's true. Still kind of annoyed I couldn't go on the island today unless I was bundled up like a weirdo."
