The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

John squirted water at Gavin from his fist in return. "You having a good time with the roomie?"

"Haven't really talked to her much," Gavin admitted. "I got in there yesterday, hung out for a bit and then hit the track. They have a track. On the ship."

"I think it's all about everything," he said. "This boat might be bigger than Tatooine."

"Hey, we're happy being stuck here," John said unhappily. "I'm looking forward to a life of flying planes that can't break through the atmosphere. Really."

"Of course I wanna see space," John said, splashing at Gavin. "It's just probably not an option."

"Yet," Gavin noted. "You guys'll probably get there. And you're young. By the time you're the right age, they might be ready to go to space."

"Please," John scoffed. "That shuttle we flew in Flight Club? They're practically ready to give up on it in my time. Just sending computers to space now."

"Well, maybe you can take some of the stuff you learned here and help them out?" Gavin suggested. "You've got some tech know how."

"Yeah, who knows," John said, trying to keep that positive vibe going. "I could always hit up a portal and steal your X-Wing."
