The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

"It's less slimey than I would have imagined," Blair said.

"Aw, thanks. That means a lot," Chuck said, sliding his hands up to her shoulders.

"I know how hard you have to work at that," Blair replied.

"And it's so nice to see my hard work being acknowledged," he said, finding it easier to play along with her jabs while he had his hands on her.

Chuck moved his hands to the nape of her neck and moved his fingers lightly along it, not even pretending to be applying suntan lotion anymore.

Funny how even though there wasn't any cool lotion, Blair still shivered. "What are you doing?" Then, realizing how that sounded, she added, hastily, "This week. What are you doing this week?"

"Haven't really planned anything yet," Chuck said, not bothering to move his hands. "Why?"

"No reason," Blair said, far too innocently. "I just wanted to know how often I'll have the room to myself. For... private things."

Chuck stopped moving his hands for a split second as he thought about the implications of that. "...what sort of things would you be doing where you wouldn't want me watching? Certainly a pure girl like you wouldn't be doing anything dirty."

"Spending time with a girlfriend," Blair said. Seriously, far, far too innocently.

"Really?" he said, sliding one finger from Blair's neck and down her back. Still applying lotion. Really. "Do I know her?"

"Hmmm." Blair pretended to think about it. "Angela? Do you know her very well?"

Chuck was silent for a moment as some very hot images filtered into his head. "...very well. Yeah."

"Her," Blair said. "I think she and I need some time. To bond."

"I can't watch bonding?" he asked. He really, really wanted to watch bonding.

"Girls only," Blair said. "The bonding won't be the same if you're there."

"It'd be better if I was there," Chuck said.

"Hmmm, no." Blair was enjoying this far too much. "So you should let me know when you'll be somewhere else so I can plan accordingly."

"I'll have to let you know," he said. "Give you girls plenty of alone time."

Yeah, like he wasn't going to try to crash that.

"Thank you," Blair replied.

Like she wasn't totally hoping he would.

"I like to do whatever I can to help," Chuck said. Clearly he was proving that with the attentive way he was applying her suntan lotion.
