The Crown Princess - Monday [Ship/Princess Cays, Bahamas]

Early in the morning, the cruise director came over the loudspeaker announcing the port of the day and some on-boat activities of interest. Those paying attention would learn that from 9am until 5pm, the Crown Princess would be docked in the lovely Princess Cays, Bahamas where guests were welcome to participate in glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or beach excursions for a portion of the day. Adults were encouraged toward the Sanctuary on the Sun Deck for a more private way to relax away from the teens.

Summer remembered what K-Mart had told her when they met at the welcome picnic. "I'm glad you have the chance to do that. No one should be deprived of fun in the sun. And working on tans."

"I'm all about the fun in the sun this week," K-Mart declared. "Gonna be kind of sad when it's over, actually."

"Yeah," Summer agreed. "But maybe you can visit me after I graduate, since you're my little sib and all. I'm from a beach town."

"Oh, that would be amazing," K-Mart said, a little amazed that she had a friend -- or the makings of one, anyway -- that would invite her somewhere. It wasn't something she was used to, but damned if she didn't like the shiny new of it.

"Awesome," Summer grinned. "We could go shopping sometime if you want."

She was totally okay with any excuse to shop.
