We are aboard three 50' yachts: The Hermes, the Dionysus, and the Poseidon. Enjoy air-conditioning, generous above-deck lounging areas, a roomy below-deck saloon, and a fully equipped kitchen. There's plenty of room (for a boat) to relax and socialize. The teachers get ensuites and the students are in either double rooms or bunk beds, ~~depending on what's funnier~~, and have to share two bathrooms.

Look, there was only so long you could keep Hannibal out of a kitchen. He'd been to the market yesterday and delighted in the fresh food, and this morning was trying his hand at strapatsada, sfakianopita, and of course, plenty of coffee.

So if anybody on board (or in smelling distance from another boat) was hungry, it was clearly your own problem.

The crew had brought out a tray of snacks, so Rey was sitting up in the lounge area, turned so that she could get the best view of the water while sampling some olives. It really was just the prettiest out here.

Sairis was not going to do any of those sports, but he was definitely going to sit and laugh at the people on the inflatable bananas.

Steve and Tony were 100 percent riding on giant bananas. (Tony had all the jokes.)

The Temple of Poseidon in Sounion has always had a special place in the hearts of visitors. Built at the same time as the Parthenon, during Athens’ Golden Age, it wasn’t just a site of worship of the sea god Poseidon (whose bronze statue stood more than 6m tall at its centre) but – positioned high above the sea on the southeastern tip of Attica – it was an indication for sailors returning to Piraeus that they were almost home.

After he'd taken the obligatory photos, Caleb took a long moment to just look at the ruins before him and wonder. Wonder about the gods, or beings worshipped as gods, or, heck even just stories that took off and inspired folk to build these temples.

Guess who wasn't tired of ruins yet! Kitty thought this one might actually be her favorite so far, which she was crediting to the setting.

The tour company I usually go with used to have a Greece trip where you sea kayak your way to the Temple of Poseidon, and I SO WANTED TO GO, and they changed the tour and now I have to find somewhere else that does it.
