The Avengers aboard are all VERY FINE being on Hydra Island. Ignore the eye twitching.

ABOARD THE YACHTS

We are aboard three 50' yachts: The Hermes, the Dionysus, and the Poseidon. Enjoy air-conditioning, generous above-deck lounging areas, a roomy below-deck saloon, and a fully equipped kitchen. There's plenty of room (for a boat) to relax and socialize. The teachers get ensuites and the students are in either double rooms or bunk beds, depending on what's funnier, and have to share two bathrooms.

Greek wasn't something Hannibal generally made, which meant it wasn't something he generally ate, so he was enjoying it and trying everything there.

He'd read once that old timey sailors had slept in hammocks. He wondered if that helped with the rocking motion. Still he thought he felt slightly more rested this morning.

Kitty may have been nursing a little hangover which also meant she didn't actually get up and out until just before lunch. Sunglasses and souvlaki were surely a cure all, right?

Well, Henry had eventually managed to make it around the boat without feeling too sick. He was, however, pitifully grateful to see lunch. He hadn't eaten in about a day.

"I don't know what any of this is," he said brightly, before shoving something that looked like beef into his mouth.

He was so hungry!

"How is it?" Sairis asked. He didn't know what any of it was, either, so was happy for Henry to be the guinea pig.

Sairis nodded and tried it. "There are so many different vegetables here," he agreed. "The black ones are interesting."

Sairis searched over the spread and found them. "Here. These." He held out an olive. "They're sharp. I can't decide if I like them or not."

"What are they?" Sairis asked. "I don't think we've got anything like them where I'm from." Unless they looked very different there.

"Olives," Henry replied, reaching for one. "They make oil of them in the south, I think. And I think Jesus had a mountain of 'em."

Look, in Henry's defense, church was in Latin.

He rubbed his chin. "Or was it a mountain of olive trees?"

There were new things here that Stark hadn't tried in the past. A few things he'd eaten before and enjoyed.

He really liked the leaves stuffed with rice.

As it turned out, Rey had liked snorkeling the last time she'd done it. Sure, the gear was dumb-looking, but it was pretty and peaceful down there, and so she was donning a stupid mask to do it again.

Paddleboarding [2/24]

The water in the bay is perfect for this, too, if you'd rather not dunk your head in it.

Jon enjoyed the water, but he was self-conscious about his scars. With paddleboarding, he could wear shorts and a loose shirt (and a hat and a lot of sunscreen, because he was, after all, English), so that was what he was doing.

The wind and sun were actually nice. He might almost be smiling!

Water Taxi to Town

Going on a small adventure to the town and the rest of the island seemed like the best choice for Belle today. She didn't enjoy being in the water enough to want to try snorkeling or the paddleboarding today. Perhaps another day this week she'd be in the ocean instead of on it.

If the sunset was being talked up, then Rey wanted to see it. It felt like she was getting a lot of beach time, but it really did feel like the best place to find a place to sit in the sand and watch.

This place was beautiful. Stark was enjoying that, and the food, even if this trip felt a bit more subdued than previous ones had. He didn't mind that. He didn't mind quiet.

He sat down on the beach to look out over the water as the light changed.
