It was a perfectly crisp autumn afternoon when Fandom arrived at the literal castle they would be checking into for their stay in Québec. The portal trip had been blessedly without complications and Anakin was holding the buffalo check trapper hat that the Portalocity gnomes insisted came free with every trip to Canada under his arm. He'd be trying to lose it later, but everyone else could do what they liked with their hats.

"Check into your rooms," he said, gesturing to the front desk, "and then you may do some quiet and polite exploring of the city this evening. I expect to see you in the lobby bright and early tomorrow for breakfast and then some educational tours! You too, teachers."

Or just avoid eye contact with the dean and enjoy your trip!

Stewart wasn't expecting the music scene to be exactly hopping on a Sunday night, but he figured he could at least slink his way into La Piazz because it was close with a decent reputation and might not completely suck. Good for at least skulking in, commiserating in the shadows, and trying to get a least forget for a little bit that he was on a school trip, the one whose level of involvement he was going to actually pursue was still up for debate.

Although he had to admit, they hadn't skimped on the amenities at all, had they?
