Fhloston, Friday Morning/Afternoon
Your last full day here! How time does fly, like Captain Rex Nebula, and also leaves you dizzy and crying, also like Captain Rex Nebula.
[While only a few rides, restaurants, and attractions will be shown per day, a full list of them can be found HERE]

Hotel
[OOC: As always, please move NSFW threads out of the main comm. Room assignments are here. Please add your room number to the header as you thread.]
Rides
If you're really upset about it, Myra offers an Extend-A-Stay package that's slightly less a ripoff than the original prices!
[OOC: Use the header to let us know what rides you're enjoying]
Bounce Chamber - Strap into something that is definitely not a repurposed giant space hamster ball and live your best bouncy life! Better yet, the new improvements to the ride has it taking place inside, so you no longer have to worry about a poorly-judged bounce will send you straight into the stratosphere! (It's a raucous, ricochet-ridden romp, loosely based on the molecular movement inside exploding stars.)
Kiddie Coaster - Gentle dips and careful corners, this is the ride for future daredevils or current scaredy-cats. ("The coaster was so gentle, I was able to write my review while I was still on it." --Salzon's Ride Review)
Log Flume - A great way to cool off and have fun in the sun, since it does get pretty hot in these domes when the planet has rotated around to the sun again. Strap into an enchanted, talking log and careen down this wild and crazy water ride, good till the last drop! ("Thanks for riding, and be sure not to leaf anything behind! Just some tree humor for you.")
Raffine's Conniving Carousel - Who wants something as plain and boring as horses? All the creatures on this carousel are great mythological beasts, and at least one of them every ride will take off with their rider and run off until negotiations can be made for the passenger's return. (An excellent way to receive free childcare for the day, or to accidentally 'lose' an annoying companion.)
Sensei's Spinning Top - All the dizzying fun of the little teacup ride paired with the wise knowledge of sages of centuries past. (One suggests not having tea immediately before, during, or after this ride.)
Games
[OOC: Use the header to let us know what games you're playing]
Scavenger Hunt - Grab your virtual scavenger hunt list and run about the Astrotorium scanning as many items as you can find to be the ultimate champion. Oddly enough, most of the items can also be found in the Gift Shop, but are only scannable after purchase. (Due to being raised on the Astrotorium Blorbian grublings are only allowed to play if they pay.)
Star*Burst - Run around in a laser light grid of stars, trying to catch as many as you can before time runs out! Or, if running isn't your thing, mug other people for theirs! ("Probably the most educational game that we have. We should be charging more." --Myra the Magnificent)
Tug of War - Team up against the ultimate Strongman himself, Hardy of Myra's Marvels! Winners immediately receive one life-sized plushie and a coupon to the Costume Shop! Maximum of five participants allowed (or 2 and a loxodon or any size Large creature). (Hardy's record is undefeated)
Trivia Game - How good is your Magic: The Gathering trivia knowledge? Do you know the difference between Lat-Nam and Lim-Dûl? The courses required to graduate from Silverquill in Strixhaven? Chart the identities of Jeska? Name all the paruns of Ravnica? If yes, maybe you've got what it takes to be our Reigning Trivia Champion! (Also if yes, what you don't have is a life.)
Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Also, it was a well-known fact that Graham was excellent at finding random and useful items all over the spread of a wide and varied map!
(And also had some sticky fingers...and not because of the cinnamon rolls he'd had!)
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
"That's right," Libby confirmed, because she was there too, but someone was too lazy to bother switching accounts for it. She smiled and gave Belle a little wave. "Hi, Belle. Did you want to join us on the scavenger hunt, too? We figured it was a good way to get to see most of the park by looking for stuff!"
Even if they did keep getting distracted, but that was fine! That was the whole point! Adventure and a quest, just like Graham said!
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Because someone had had less time to indulge in fake vacations this week, sadly.
"What are we searching for first?"
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
"Yeah, those were easy!" Graham offered eagerly. "Most of it could be found over by where the show was!"
"So we were thinking of trying to find the Cosmic Pup next," Libby then explained, "or the Ten Gates of Ravnica."
"Personally," Graham noted, "I'm leaning toward Ravnica, if only because I gotta find this Helldozer guy!"
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Because, look, what adventurer could resist someone called Helldozer?
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Honestly, it was both shocking and criminal that Helldozer hadn't made an appearance earlier.
"But I think I saw a gate over there! Thag's where we can start!"
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Was it actually safe in this environment? Eh, maybe. But it would be exciting and clearly these very wholesome teenagers needed some of that in their lives.
"And wrecking balls for hands. I never thought of such a thing."
Of course most things in this park were things that Belle had never thought of before.
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
"I thought it must be difficult for him to go through doors," Libby admitted a little sheepishly, "but then Graham pointed out that he could probably just smash right through them."
Graham nodded to confirm that he did point that out!
"But knitting is right out!" he added.
Re: Scavenger Hunt - 03/01.
Food
[OOC: Use the header to let us know where you're eating]
Concession Stand - Eating here is always a concession. (Today's Special: Spicy Ma-chip-ulator Nachos)
Auntie Grub's House of Pitch - Who needs all those fancy restaurants when you can just stab food with a stick and shove it over an open fire?! Usually an open fire in a bucket, hole, or pit full of pitch! Mmm, redolent with the scent, taste, and stickiness of tar, just like Auntie Grub used to make. (Today's Special: Skewer of Mild and Spice)
Cosmic Confectioner - While her specialty is frosted treats of all kinds, her most popular flavors are vanilla, maple pecan, and Glurgian Galactopod. (Today's Specials: Giant Mana Cake)
Ye Olden Timey Tavern
Eventually, he decided to take control of his day. He returned to the tavern, where he grabbed a tankard and sank down somewhere to watch the other customers living it up.
Cosmic Confectioner
So here he was enjoying a space cupcake. Which he was going to call a space cupcake. And maybe he'd be offering a space cupcake to a certain ginger lady if she happened to be around. Maybe he'd suggest trying a ride or game after that. Maybe.
Amenities
[OOC: Use the header to let us know what you're up to]
Foam Weapon Kiosk - Nothing is safe in the hands of an eight-year-old. This just offers you a false sense of security. ("I'm sorry, ma'am. Sometimes a real sword just sneaks its way in there." --Randa, daycare blacksmith.)
Balloon Stand Scattered all over the park, these robots are the counterpart to Clare D'Loon. Their balloon-shaping is faster, but they fail to capture the magic that really makes hers come alive. But sometimes, you just want something to make you a balloon animal that stays a balloon. And the balloon stands are always happy to oblige. (Buy enough balloons and it becomes a ride.)
Gift Shop - Managed by the Gray Merchant of Alphabet, Gary, like any young zombie, dreamed of escaping the underworld and joining the circus. He's learned several lessons since then. (Today's Deal: Souvenir T-Shirts)
Gallery of Legends -
Behold 83 different Planeswalkers in a stirring show tracing the Multiverse's history. Watch the curtain rise to reveal startlingly realistic Audio-Artifact replicas of many of the most well-known Planeswalkers of the Multiverse—together for the very first time. Hear a speech delivered by The Eternal Wanderer and a recorded performance of the oath of office by the newest addition to the Hall, Jace Beleren as The Living Guildpact.
Closed For Repairs Until Further Notice - Astrotorum SignTake your seat in the stately theater, home to 3 massive stages and a grand proscenium. Watch an original musical—developed by a (technically) award-winning historian—that tells the dramatic story of Dominaria's history.
Learn about the survival of the plane and the hard-fought struggles along the way—such as the Invasion of Phyrexia and the Brother's War. Listen to the stirring words of Urza echo through the theater and watch Jeska, Thrice Reborn—in attendance on stage—exist in all three of her incarnations: Jeska, Warrior Adept, Phage the Untouchable, and Karona, Goddess of Magic before returning to her original incarnation in time to sacrifice herself and start The Great Mending!
Thalia's No-Fun Zone
ignoreany and all Jace-related feelings this terrible trip was evoking, was once again consigned to Thalia's No-Fun Zone, which would make the real Thalia laugh. Assuming the real Thalia was a) capable of that, and b) wasn't immediately rushing over to try to kill Liliana instead. Neither of which Liliana was entirely sure about.Once again, however, it wasn't her fault she was here. She'd been wandering past the Gallery of Legends, had seen the description, and had immediately tried to go inside. Yes, yes, it was closed, but nobody could blame her for needing to know. There were eighty-three Planeswalkers? Jace was the Living Guildpact? They were going to show the story of the Mending?! What did they say about Liliana?!?!?
Obviously she'd needed to get inside. Obviously. However, the park staff hadn't agreed and here she was. Again. Glaring.
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
"I assure you, darling, I'm the original and the only," she declared.
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
She reached down and tugged on her capelet. "I'm not really doing a cosplay. I mean I have the headdress and the collar, but..."
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
Not that this should be taken as Liliana warming up to the idea of people 'cosplaying' her or to children at all, but this was a teachable moment and Liliana was teacher enough to want to take advantage of such things.
"So why...Liliana...anyway?" she asked, the use of the third-person almost painful. "I mean, the appeal is obvious and you're to be applauded for your taste, but why?"
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
The retort was automatic, her attention focused on the girl in front of her.
"You're a necromancer?" she asked. The girl was young, yes, but Liliana had been younger when she'd started using magic and had been roughly that age when she'd begun supplementing her cleric training with necromancy. "And you...ghoulcall cats?"
Re: Thalia's No-Fun Zone
She gave Liliana - because even if she was a cosplayer, she was a really convincing one! - a smile.
"That's why I like Lili so much! She wouldn't think it's weird that all my friends are ghost-kitties, cause she makes her own friends, too. Or, well, she did before, you know? And that was good, too, because it means you can make friends whenever, even as a grownup. So even if I only have ghost-kitty friends now, maybe when I'm a grownup, I'll make real-people friends, too. Just like her!"
