Okay, tonight is a bit on the muggy and humid side of things, but fortunately there were actions you could take to mitigate such slight discomfort! You could swim in one of the many pools! You could go swimming with the horses (but not in a pool)! You could drink tropical cocktails--or mocktails, students, they're watching you--and ignore the humidity! You could wear very little clothing and dance on the beach!

It's night three in paradise, everyone! Enjoy it while you can!

The last few days had been spent on or near the beach and water.... and Connor was perfectly happy with that. So he settled in, claiming a spot around the bonfire and closed his eyes and just let himself relax for a bit, listening to the mixing of waves on the shore and the crackling of the fire.

The last couple of days had been nice between the windsurfing and the kite surfing, Cutter thought spending some time on the sand out of the water sounded nice as well, especially because he knew Connor had headed down earlier.

“This looks really nice,” Cutter smiled as he came to sit down by Connor.

"Hey!" Connor said with a grin as he held up a glass. "Glad ya made it!"

Cutter grinned as he got comfortable, “what are you having?” he asked, trying to decide if he felt up for a drink or not.

"They actually have a little gin and tonic they stock for groups like this," Connor said, nodding towards the almost empty glass in his hand. "Definitely recommend it!"

Cutter smiled at that and now with the icon to match!, "well then a little gin and tonic doesn't sound to bad, I might get a cup myself," he considered.

"Already got one here... if ya want" Connor offers with a smirk he tried and failed to hide. He held the glass out for Cutter and gave a nod toward the patch of sand next t =o him

What? He had hoped Cutter would find his way down at some point, and if not, wasn't like it was going to go to waste with Connor there.

Cutter grinned at that as he took the offered glass and sat down next to Connor, trying to make himself comfortable.

"Cheers," he said raising his glass and taking a sip of his drink. "Not bad," he decided once he had taken a sip, "I mean, I'm more of a scotch drinker myself but this is pretty good,"

Connor returned the toast and finished off the last of his glass.

"Kinda got hooked on the gin and tonic at the university actually," Connor said with a smirk. "Cheap, easy to get, perfect for a broke student who wants a good drink without trading the week's food bill for a few drinks. But I'm pretty sure I saw scotch, brandy, and a couple of other good ones ya might like over at the bar."

"I was more into wine during my university days, especially when I was doing my later studies," Cutter admitted, "there were quite a few late night sessions when I wouldn't have made it through without the wine," he said with a grin as he thought back to those days, "but I might have some scotch after this as well," he considered.

"Just remember to pace yourself..." Connor said with a smirk, "Tomorrow is Wednesday, and I'm pretty sure I heard that Summer is doing another jello shot party like she did in Paris so...." Connor gave a small knowing wink, remembering how good it had gone last time.

Cutter smiled at that as he took another sip of his drink, "I'm sure I'll have plenty of room for jello shots," he assured Connor, "I think I can handle myself a lot better now,"

He really, really couldn't. It was going to end badly.

"Aye, I'm sure you can," Connor said with a nod and a small smirk.

"Well, mostly better," he allowed with a smirk of his own.
