Okay, tonight is a bit on the muggy and humid side of things, but fortunately there were actions you could take to mitigate such slight discomfort! You could swim in one of the many pools! You could go swimming with the horses (but not in a pool)! You could drink tropical cocktails--or mocktails, students, they're watching you--and ignore the humidity! You could wear very little clothing and dance on the beach!

It's night three in paradise, everyone! Enjoy it while you can!

Had Shunsui just been down there at the beach this whole time while the party sprung up? Or had he just arrived like everyone else?

That was a good question, and probably a mystery for the ages.

Lana grinned over at him. "You seem to be having a very good holiday. Have you branched out to the local spirits yet?"

Shunsui couldn't help grinning crookedly at Lana's particular choice of words, almost tempted to make a joke about it hardly being a holiday if he had, but that would probably be a whole thing that he needn't bother getting into.

"I," he pronounced happily instead, "am having an excellent holiday, Lana-chan, and it's even better now that you're here, as well ♥. And though my trusty sake is always within reach," he patted the jug still hanging at his hip, even without the usual sash to hold it, "I have been enjoying getting to know the land through my cups ♥. And yourself, Lana-chan ♥? Can I get you something to perhaps...expand your own repertoire ♥?"

"Have you had the chance to try any of the Bali arak?" asked Shunsui, with a small, curious quirk of both his brow and his smirk, and he wasted no time in locating some. "It, like sake, is made from fermented rice, so, naturally, I'm quite partial to it already ♥."

"I have not." Lana sniffed it before tasting. "Oh, that's quite good. Thank you! So, what have you been up to? Or has it all been napping?" she teased.

"Oh, not all napping, Lana-chan," said Shunsui, chuckling slightly as he poured a little extra for himself, as well, "I assure you ♥. There was also been quite a bit of sight-seeing," his hand danced a little with each item, "enjoying the scenery, getting to know some of the locals..."

A few of them very well...

He sipped his arak contentedly.

"And yourself? How have you been enjoying your time here this far, Lana-chan ♥."

Lana chuckled. "Not in quite the same way, but yes. The scenery is lovely and the water is warm. It's been difficult doing so little, but I'm sure with enough practice I'll manage."

For a brief moment, Shunsui was afraid he might need to look concerned over the idea of idleness being difficult, but Lana brought it around to an approving nod with that last part.

"That, Lana-cham," he told her, with a grin and a wink, "is one of the few forms of practice I will whole-heartedly support and advocate for ♥. As a matter of fact, as an expert at doing as little as possible as much as I can, I would be happy to offer my assistance in the matter...♥."

Of course, he was using that definition very loosely, considering some of that imagined assistance actually involved doing quite a bit of...something, actually.

"Well, expert advice is often the best way to learn, I find," Lana said, returning both the grin and the wink (albeit hers was a bit out of practice). "Where would you begin?"

"Well, we've already gotten the first part take care of ♥," Shunsui noted, with a lift of his glass. "A little something lovely to drink. Lovely company," here, he ducked his head, tilted his hat, in case there was even a shadow of a doubt that he was referring to Lana herself, "is not required, but does make it that much nicer ♥. And then, I would suggest finding somewhere nice and comfortable; a true expert can be productively idle anywhere, of course, but if one can be comfortable, then why not be, neh ♥?"

"Oh? And where would you recommend getting comfortable?" Lana asked, grinning.

"Have you had a chance to check out the beds, by any chance, Lana-chan ♥?" asked Shunsui, with an innocent that he knew wasn't fooling anyone and looking far too pleased to have had such a smooth and clearly subtle set-up for that one.

Lana laughed. "Only my own. Though I'm curious now to find out if the others are different."

"Well," Shunsui had to laugh a little himself, because there were very few sounds that were as delightful as the laugh of a beautiful woman, and it did certainly seem as though he was on his way to hearing a few of his other favorite sounds in due time, as well, now, "I would be more than happy to show you mine ♥. Perhaps help...satiate....that curiosity ♥."
