Okay, tonight is a bit on the muggy and humid side of things, but fortunately there were actions you could take to mitigate such slight discomfort! You could swim in one of the many pools! You could go swimming with the horses (but not in a pool)! You could drink tropical cocktails--or mocktails, students, they're watching you--and ignore the humidity! You could wear very little clothing and dance on the beach!

It's night three in paradise, everyone! Enjoy it while you can!

Clare was doing an excellent impression of an Irish person without sunblock in the tropics: she was very, very red.

That's why she was laying facedown on one of the wicker sofas and whinging about it. But quietly. For Clare. Which wasn't that quiet.

TJ wandered past and stopped. "Yikes. You are really burnt. Do you have burn cream or something?"

TJ got out her phone and did some searching. "Not sure if they've got ice packs around. Tylenol? Or aspirin, I guess."

"The wee woman who takes after the house got me both," Clare said. "Right now I'm waiting for the aloe to soak in."

And being a huge baby about it.

"A fruity drink?" Clare asked.

"Fruity drinks I can do," TJ confirmed. "Well, I can find the right person to ask, anyway. One sec!"

She bounded off to find their butler or whatever. Fruity drinks sounded wonderful, really.

She came back a few minutes later hollering, "Fruity drinks in the main room!" before setting one down before Clare. "Your fruity drink, ma'am."

Charlie wandered by then stopped and backed up. "Oh boy, that looks painful. But I can help you with that if you want."

Charlie laughed. "And yet don't they also say God helps those who help themselves? I can sketch a little charm to help you heal faster and take away the pain, but I wouldn't force it on you."
