Welcome to your first full day at Nihi Sumba, kids! The temperatures were in the late 70s and low 80s, the sun was shining, and the beaches were waiting.

And if lounging around wasn't your kind of thing, well, there was plenty to do around the island.

Connor woke up with a dilemma that morning. Part of him wanted to just stay in the amazing villa all day, and the other part of him was itching to get out and see as much as he could fight from the start. So, for now, he was settling on a compromise and enjoying breakfast on the deck while watching the waves.

This was definitely something Cutter could get used to as he settled in at the table next to Connor with a plate full of food, “the surf looks really good today,” he noted with a smile, “did you want to head down later to try wind surfing?”

"Morning," Connor said with a nod and a smile. "That sounds like a great plan, and I bow to your expertise on timing and whatnot. You are the teacher here, after all" he added with a smirk.

Cutter smiled, “morning,” he said back, he was going to have to get used to remembering things like pleasantries want he?

He took a mouthful of food, “well we can definitely head down after breakfast then, see how everything goes?”

Eh, pleasantries were overrated, really from most people....

"Sounds good, get fueled up, head back to change and hit the beach. If not windsurfing today, just being out and enjoying the scenery will be amazing." Connor didn't think he needed to add that "especially with the present company" but he hoped Cutter knew that was definitely part of it all.

“It definitely will be,” Cutter smiled, “I should also mention that I haven’t done any proper wind surfing in awhile, so I may be a little rusty,” he admitted.

"Pffft still loads more experience than me," Connor pointed out. "And if it all ends up being a wipe out, (yes sorry Cutter, puns were still a thing) we'll at least be doing it together. Cant really complain too much about that!"
