Baltimore Trip

A little more then an hour after leaving Fandom,the bus pulled up at the Inner Harbor Parking Garage. It's just minutes from most of the Inner Harbor Attractions.

"Okay everyone, have fun and be back here for the bus at six," said Isabel as she pulled on her coat.

"It's not fair that girls can do that," he grumbled good naturedly. "Seriously, I can try pouting like that and it doesn't do anything."

"I know," Isabel snickered. "On guys it comes across as a sulk. And that's just not fun."

"I don't sulk," he pouted.

Isabel raised an eyebrow. "Oh, if you say so."

"I do," he nodded.

"Well you might want to watch out for your lower lip when you walk," Isabel smirked. "I wouldn't want you to trip over it."

He rolled his eyes. "I've been grumpy. There's a difference."

"I could tell..." Isabel said under her breath. And then quickly covered by adding, "Potato, potatoe, same difference."

"Nah huh," he narrowed his eyes at her. "It doesn't matter what I say, you're not going to believe me, are you?"

Isabel tried to look innocent. "I believe you, really. I do."

"Uh huh, right. Of course you do," he nodded. "You sound very convincing."

"But I do," she said sincerely with her hand on her heart. "What would it take to convince you?"

"Hmmmm," he tilted his head and watched her. "I'm not sure, but it'd have to be really good."

"Cam, anything I do is really good," Isabel said with a wicked smile.

He grinned. "Yeah, now I'm going to need evidence of that too."

"In your dreams maybe," Isabel said with a grin.

For a split second his smile dimmed, but he recovered pretty quickly. "Wouldn't you like to know."

"I never said I didn't."

As the words came out, Isabel mentally facepalmed, wondering where the hell they were coming from.

He raised both eyebrows and possibly grinned even broader. "You want to know what I dream of?"

"No, no I don't, not at all," Isabel said, shaking her head. "So put your ego away before you trip over it instead of the lower lip that was sticking out before."

"Nah huh, I know what I heard. You want to know what I dream about," there might have been a small bounce. "I'll have to keep that in mind."

Isabel started to walk to the next exhibit, hoping it would distract him. "Oh, look, what's this?"

"I don't know," Cameron replied. "Think it'd feature in my dreams?"

Gee look! A nice pole for Isabel to bang her head against. "I got carried away okay? You know, witty banter?" And then, more quietly, "You're never going to let me forget it are you?"

He almost tells her he won't, then he shrugs and lets it go. "My dreams usually involve planes. I wanna see the space part of the exhibit."
