Boston, Massachusetts [Saturday Daytime]

Don't panic, but today is the last day of our trip, so if there's anything left to do, or see, or eat that you haven't gotten to already, now is the time to do it! The weather is holding out and staying lovely, so enjoy real, actual fall!

The food on Prompto's plate was going mostly untouched as he was already starting to go through the massive roll of photos he'd been taking all week, admiring some of them, wondering what he was even thinking with some others, but generally being kind of impressed with his work. There was some pretty good stuff in there! But he was mostly trying to see what he hadn't gotten yet, so that he could hopefully squeeze in a few more shots before they left.

"Your food's getting cold," Liam commented, his tone dry.

"Hm?" Prompto looked up from his camera moment, blinked at Liam, then looked at the food. "Oh. Oh, yeah!"

He plucked up a piece and plopped it into his mouth, and then all attention was back to the camera, only he was turning it toward Liam.

"Check out this shot," he said. "From the whale watching! I felt Sidon in in there made for a nice, you know, juxtaposition, right? Land, sea, and everyone in between!"

Liam leaned in to get a better look. "It really does," he agreed.

Prompto's smile brightened a little; even if Liam was just saying it to he nice. It was still good to hear it.

"Thanks," he said. "This trip really has been great for pictures. Some really good ones of Gladio tossing tea into the ocean yesterday, Ignis at th mor food market," other characters that shared a common thread of being shameless moddable....

But he could go on.

And on.

And on....

But, instead, his smile went a little sheepish, he put the camera aside, and then turned his attention back to him.

"You had a good time?" he asked.

He genuinely meant it! Prompto had an eye for that sort of thing that Liam definitely did not.

"I did," he confirmed. "It was nice to actually get to see the city. Learn some of the history." Like the giant nerd that he was.

To be fair, there were quite a lot of shots of a lot of bushes and the ground and random accidental butts, too. It was really hit and miss with Prompto's photography sometimes, but that was just bound to happen when you took shots of literally everything.

....including yourself, in a non-selfie capacity. Somehow.

"Any particular faves?"

"The pub crawl was pretty interesting," despite pubs in general not being one of Liam's usual haunts. "And the ghosts and gravestones tour." that he was totally on in a very handwavey fashion

Let's not talk about the equally handwavey massive amounts of apples he'd picked, either. There was probably a fall-themed dessert or two in Prompto's future, because even with the mice, there was no way all of those apples would be used up in time if he didn't share outside the immediate Kincaid-Price household.

"I'll have to take your word on it for the pub crawl," groused Mr. Nine Days From Legal US Drinking Age over here, "and the ghost tour. But I liked all the hiking stuff!"

And not just because it got Gladio off his back about not getting up at the butt crack of dawn to work out every day on a vacation that started with a marathon.

Yeah, Liam had never had that 'not legal drinking age' problem, existing as he did in that weird space where chronologically he was only nine, but mentally, emotionally, and more importantly, legally (according to the forged paperwork that had been done up because people didn't, generally, spring from the ground fully-formed) he was the equivalent of someone in his early thirties.

"Yeah?" Liam said. "And the running stuff?" he asked, with a teasing grin. Because yes, he'd seen that the chocobros had all signed up for that.

Oh, you mean he noticed that Gladio signed them all up?

Excuse Prompto a moment while he groaned.

"Don't remind me," he said. "I'm pretty sure I'm still feeling that."

He wasn't. He'd been running religiously since he was fifteen, and had actually done pretty well. Kept up with Gladio, anyway! He was pretty proud of that, actually, and just wanted to complain.

Because seriously, dude.

And then the camera was out again.

"Great shots from it, though!"

Because....of course he took pictures while running, too.

(Yes, that was where the majority...but not all!....those accidental butt shots seemed to come in).

"... How did you manage that?" Liam asked. "I mean, isn't it hard to keep the camera steady while you're running?"

Well, yes, hence the butt shots that so far had only been mentioned in narrative.
