Boston, Massachusetts [Friday night]

It's our last night in Boston, everyone! Go out, eat in restaurants, party at clubs, or put on comfortable sweatpants and participate in a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party, where we'll dump fake tea into Boston Harbor!

"Oh well, I mean..." Dwight mumbled, caught a bit off guard at how suddenly Jon seemed to have snuck up on him. He hadn't been that into everything going on.... had he?

"Ya know... history and all that..." he gave Jon a somewhat sheepish grin.

"History, sticking it to 'the man', or perhaps you just like throwing things," Jon said, still amused. He'd noticed that about a few of the other teachers.

"It is actually quite cathartic, throwing things and not worrying about anything afterwards" Dwight shrugged. "But probably a little of all three if I am honest about it" he added with a smirk.

"I suppose I can understand that," Jon said. "Though personally I'd rather be drinking the tea."

"Eh it's the principle of the matter" Dwight said simply. "Besides, it's not like its real tea being wasted... though a nice cup of something hot does sound good right about now."

Jon nodded. "Real tea...well, even real crates, I suppose...would get far too expensive to toss overboard. But yes, actual tea sounds lovely."

"Pretty sure I heard something about tea and cakes or something somewhere around here" he said as chucked one last load into the water with a grin. "It's getting a bit cold out here now anyways" he muttered, making a mental note to make sure he got his jacket back from Amaya when he went back to their room.

Jon nodded. "The cafe is over there." He had his jacket on, but was still cold. "I think I'm ready for something hot to drink."

Well, of course Jon would be cold even with a jacket, the dude was skinny as a rail. Dwight nodded and headed in towards the cafe and walked up to the counter to order something. "Get ya anything?" he offered to Jon.

"Oh, um, no, I'm...I'm fine," Jon said, startled. "I'll just have the bottomless tea and a cinnamon scone," he told the worker behind the counter. "I can pay for my own, though."

Dwight got a cup of hot apple cider and a couple of old fashioned vanilla sugar cookies. Which was quite a surprisingly tasty combo actually.

"Been quite the trip hasn't it?" Dwight said simply. "In some ways it feels like we just got here and in other ways I'm looking forward to getting back to the shop and back into a routine."

"It's been...fine," Jon agreed. "But I, um. I'm looking forward to being back in my own place. Such as it is. Not that Irene's a bad roommate!" He added hastily. "But, um. I'm more used to being on my own. And my place on the island maybe isn't mine, either, but at least it's not quite so...erm...ornate."

"Simple guys like our simple lives" Dwight said with a slight nod. "Luxury is nice for a time but the excess gets a bit draining eventually. For me anyways. There is definitely something to be said for simple and easy."
