Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine Feet Below Fandom, Tuesday

Happy Tuesday, everyone! There was a wealth of places to hang out down here now, and a whole community of people doing it, whether they liked it or not.

And don't forget that ceiling divot! They were making good headway up there!

. . . Which mostly served to demonstrate just how deep this weird little hole really was.

Annie had honestly never considered this wrinkle, and she took a moment to work through a logical explanation.

"He used the hook like a pulley to hang the guy," she decided.

Drunk logical, at least.

"And okay, so," she added, because this was the really good part, "when the girl stopped the car and got out, do you know what she found dangling from the car door?"

Could you guess???

"Was it a hook that fell off after being used like a pulley?"

At least sober she would have kept her mouth shut.

"It was totally a hook hanging off the door handle because he was going to get her next!"

Annie totally did a little, "Ooooooh," just in case no one else reacted. She could ooh at her own stories. It was fine.

"Oooh," Rey said automatically. "Did she stop far enough away to be out of danger?"

"She totally did," Annie decided. "And then they caught the murderer and everyone lived happily ever after!"

Just combining all the storytelling tropes today.

"The boyfriend was brutally murdered," Rey pointed out.
defenderofdesmoines: (starlight - sure about that?)

"She was kind of thinking of breaking up with him anyway," Annie decided. "But that part is kind of sad, you're right."
