Happy Tuesday, everyone! There was a wealth of places to hang out down here now, and a whole community of people doing it, whether they liked it or not.

And don't forget that ceiling divot! They were making good headway up there!

. . . Which mostly served to demonstrate just how deep this weird little hole really was.

"Okay," Stark said, picking up the book. "I don't know the names of that many."

"Maybe this?" he said after a moment, pointing to the Madras recipe. "Is there still orange juice? And cranberry?"

"We still have those," Rey confirmed. "Do you trust me to make this?"

Rey seemed very trustworthy! And also like she might offer heavy pours.

"Okay, then let's try it," Rey said, walking around to the other side of the bar. "I've never been on this end before."

"I never make the drinks either." Stark's apartment was well stocked with baked goods. Not so much with alcohol.

"It shouldn't be hard. I think. Some of them might be, this one only has 3 ingredients."

"It looks easy enough," Rey said, glancing at the book again before finding a glass and a top shelf bottle of vodka- sorry, Eric, and proceeding to pour just more than a third of it into said glass.

Maybe a little more than just more than a third, but not half.

Probably not.

"It does," Stark agreed.

And that much vodka was fine, right? Vodka with a couple splashes of juice. What was the point of day drinking in the hole if you weren't going to get trashed?

It would at least look... colored? Like it wouldn't be totally clear. That was good, right?

So once Rey had poured the juices, she slid one over, and started on one for herself. Just to try.

"Let me know how it is."

Sure, that was good! A pale but pretty drink.

"Strong," Stark said after a sip. "But good."

This was what happened when you either tried something straight or you let Jaskier get your drinks.

"It's not too strong," Stark said quickly just in case Rey was getting any ideas of taking the glass back.

Especially for life in the hole. They really ought to just be doing shots at this point. Or water glasses full of vodka.

"Good to know," Rey said, taking a sip of her own and making a face. "Wow. That's... that's what not too strong is?"

"It's been a very long two weeks. Almost two weeks. A long time. It's not too strong for today," Stark told her.

He was absolutely going to have another. Or something similar.
