Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Osaka-to-Tokyo bullet train, which will take you into the city in two hours and thirty minutes! Fandom's got a whole section to itself, so pick a seatmate and hang out.

Terrestrial transportation methods were not something Stark had much experience with. He found a window seat, on the left of course so he could see, and settled in for the trip.

Considering that Summer expected she'd be pretty go-go-go once they arrived in Tokyo, being stuck on the bullet train for a few hours seemed a good opportunity to catch up with some peeps, so she find herself plopping down near Stark and sending over a grin.

"How's the trip so far, Stark?"

Rey had never ridden on a train before! If you needed her, she was just going to be staring out the window and watching everything whizz past.

The modern TRUNK hotel offers green spaces and wide balconies in the heart of Tokyo. Located just a stone's throw from the famous Shibuya, Aoyama and Harajuku neighborhoods, you'll find plenty to do around here.

The standard wide rooms with balcony with twin- or double beds you'll be sleeping in are a lot more modern, and each has a nice balcony with a hammock chair to chill out in. Enjoy, relax. Though for some reason, one of the balcony rooms is smaller than all the others. Hmm...

Stark had spent the past 2 nights sleeping on the floor in something of a nest made of bags, and was hoping he might, eventually, end up with a bed. Today's accommodations, alas, didn't make that any more likely.

It was so nice of the hotel to give Wayne a hammock to sleep on!

...that's what it was for, right? Tahani's ever-increasing number of suitcases fit slightly better in this space, at least, so she was grateful for that.

Had Faye paid for the drink she was nursing, tucked away in a corner in a very low cut dress? Of course not.

But she also knew that in order to get drinks, you needed to not look like some kind of lonely little weirdo, so there was a man over by the bar who'd been bitching about how his martini had been right here a minute ago.

And now maybe she could get someone to buy her a drink. The honest way.

Hungry? You'll find breakfast, lunch and dinner in the aptly named Trunk(Kitchen), featuring a range of both Japanese and international cuisine.

If Kitchen's fare isn't to your liking, there's also TRUNK(Kushi), a restaurant celebrating the fine art of taking meat and putting it on a stick (hi, Amaya!). And offal. Lots of offal.

Hello, TRUNK(Kushi)! Where have you been all Amaya's life? You know, she did enjoy her treks around various cities in search for the finest meats on sticks, yet there was something nice about it when you barely had to leave your front door to find it! And this place clearly understood the majesty and the artistry of it all, so she was truly in delighted, meat-on-stick heaven right now.

Hannibal was pleased to be able to find offal, so he was definitely going to have a meal here. And sweet-talk the server (and then the chef) into getting any extras he could.

Shinjuku Gyoen is one of Tokyo's most popular parks, featuring long lawns, meandering paths and many, many cherry trees. Sadly, it's not cherry blossom season yet!

The park, Stark thought, was quite beautiful even if it wasn't yet cherry blossom season.

If you needed him, he'd be spending some time in the greenhouse.

This shopping street is certainly located near a bunch of great restaurants, but what it's actually famous for is... replica food. So get your real Japanese tableware, a nice lantern, and then pick up a plastic bowl of ramen.

Maybe you didn't come to Japan for a museum of contemporary art, but teamLab Borderless is an experience, full of instagrammable light art and rooms full of lanterns you can be a part of.

One of the biggest drawbacks of these trips was that there was barely enough time for everything, because Astrid was pretty sure she could live here if they'd let her, and it was difficult, justifying spending as much time exploring this place as she'd like when there was also so much else to see and do.

But, she supposed, if she really did want to just travel the world after she graduated, she'd have plenty of time for that other stuff later.

So, yeah. Absolutely reveling in everything this place had to offer, because it was incredible.

Steve wasn't a big Instagram guy (go figure) but he was never going to miss out on seeing an art museum, which was why you'd find him here in his baseball cap of Magic Marvel Invisibility.

If you love sushi, Toyosu Fish Market is the place to be. You can watch the fish auctions happen in real time - and then slip into one of the restaurants on the premises to enjoy the freshest sashimi you'll ever have.
