Disneyland Paris, Paris, France: Friday October 16th [Daytime]

Welcome to Disneyland Paris, kids! Wave back at Stark who is bereft right now for some reason. We have two days to explore the two parks--Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park--or to hide in the hotel, order room service and tend to your aching feet. These are the last two days of vacation, so jam in as much fun, food, and souvenirs into your days as you can!

Hotel

We're staying at the Newport Bay Club, a New England style (by way of France and Disney) beach resort. It's a quiet sanctuary at the end of a slightly frenetic week of park hopping.

Rooms

Everyone's in Superior Rooms, though the chaperones' rooms face the lake.

Room 25

Finally able to get the room to himself, Barry pulled out a small item from his luggage and began tinkering.

It would take him a good portion of the day but quite frankly this was more fun to him than going on a roller coaster.

Plus he was almost done.

Yeah, that voicemail was definitely enough to get Summer's attention, but she was feeling pretty sure it was not what she might have first thought of. But she did know that whatever would have had Barry calling and sounding that excited and slipping into something that suggestive, it would still have been something pretty fucking big, and being overly amused at potentially just watching Rey boggle at all the Space Battles stuff could be put on pause. So she headed on back to the hotel to go to his room, knock on the door, and maybe listen carefully for any indication of what she was in for behind that door.

There's a huge, huge buffet at Cape Cod (and 77 other choices around the parks. If you want it, you can probably find it).

Obviousleh, Wayne was hitting up that breakfast buffet first and foremost before heading out to the park. It was the most important meal of the day, people! And it was basicalleh tradition for him on these vacations to always make sure to do so.

Plus, it was a good chance for him to enjoy the moments before he inevitably wound up with a pair of mouse ears on his head. Sure, he wasn't certain that such a fate awaited him, but it was definitely the sort of thing that was going to wind up happening regardless of his trying to avoid it...

Discovery Arcade

Okay, so Troy wasn't sure if this was just the world's worst arcade or something just got lost in translation. All he knew was that this was a major disappointment.

Welcome to Starport: A "Space Battles" Encounter

Yes. Miles was first in line for Starport. Damn right he was. And he didn't care how nerdy it made him look.

Of course when he got to the gift shop he now regretted blowing all his money in Legoland when he saw the "Build your own Laser Sword" kiosk.

He just stood there gazing longingly at the kiosk think of exactly the fake sword he would build if he only had the money.

Le Carrousel de Lancelot

With her memories of Paris a little too raw for her recently, Astridndidn't have to contend as much with the urge to retrace the steps of a younger self here as she did with the last stop. And though she planned to spend a lot of time exploring and maybe even doing some rides, she also figured she might as well keep up her trend of lingering especially around the carousel for drawing and people-watching.

Space Battles Hyperspace Mountain

Anakin thought he was hilarious, okay had a bit of an adrenaline rush problem, which was why he was waiting impatiently in line with Rey for this ride.

Shopping

The buffet at the hotel had been great - even Clint could appreciate that the French knew how to make good food - and he had enough coffee in him that he might even admit out loud that he was kind of excited about getting Lexi on the "fun for little ones" rides. If nothing else, it was nice to be in a place that wasn't creepy.

First though, there had been something about ears that he wasn't quite sure he was onboard for as much as Kitty. "I wasn't expecting there to be so many different kinds," he admitted. "Tell me you're not thinking about ones with glitter?"

All of this was a little...overwhelming and awkward for Freya, especially after about the third time she realized that other anthropomorphic person she saw was actually just a human in a costume, and the wake of very confused children and hipsters shecwas leaving behind her trying to figure out which obscure hidden film gem she was from.

There had been debates.

She needed a break, and she figured a snack might help, but she was absolutely not getting anything mouse-shaped, thank you very much, this was weird enough as it was...
