Award-winning, iconic, unforgettable. We're staying at the luxury resort Discovery Shores Boracay Island. Perfectly positioned in Station 1 of White Beach, experience the powder-soft white sand, fiery sunsets and pulsating nightlife of the world-famous Boracay Island.
Students are in one bedroom suites, which include a spacious living area, a nook, a bar, and a separate bedroom with two double sized beds or one king for whichever makes better RP. The chaperones are in premier one bedroom suites: two story, two bathroom rooms with private Jacuzzis that the students are super duper not invited to try out.

There are a variety of restaurants to choice from without even having to leave the hotel. The Indigo Restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants on the entire island, is open for dinner. Its unparalleled wine program offers Indigo diners Boracay’s best selection of wines by the glass, along with prestigious bottles of leading labels from old and new world wineries. (This is probably only exciting to the chaperones.) Sands Restaurant, with spectacular views of the ocean, perfectly capture the vibe of barefoot elegance that Discovery Shores is known for. Forno Osterio, an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner, puts a Sicilian flair to its otherwise eclectic menu.
Through specialized services, treatments, and facilities, Terra is the perfect haven for guest to float back to reality at their own pace after the treatment. And they're open until 11! Come get a back massage to unwind from the day.
He was definitely thinking about going out that evening, but Prompto couldn't help being a little curious about the spas and the massages and maybe giving it a try.
And maybe he was going to be going out much sooner than he thought, because what a time to discover that you actually might be a little ticklish.
Or, in all honesty, it was probably more nerves than anything else. Maybe massages weren't quite for him after all!
It's time for one last amazing sunset! If you haven't gone on a boat trip to see it, enjoy it either on the hotel's pristine section of beachfront (and conveniently close to the Sand Bar and its happy hour specials), up on the Roof Lounge with its own infinity pool, Jacuzzi, and 360 degree view of the entire island, or ignore both of those in favor of the Discovery Shores pool on the ground level. It also has a poolside bar and butlers armed with inflatable toys and snacks. #winning.
[OOC: Put where you are in the header we can come and join you!]
Oh, Summer was definitely planning on hitting the bars again for one last night before they left, but she was also squeezing in just a tiny bit of relaxation with a drink in the jacuzzi on the rooftop, so she was good and ready and refreshed when she got back out there.
And it was a legit tragedy that I somehow have not used these icons at all yet this week
Astrid wanted to make sure to spend one more evening up in that infinity pool, feeling that endlessness that she had told Sabine about earlier, especially now that she felt she needed to work that into her next wall piece somehow. She wasn't sure exactly how, and so that just seemed all the more reason to settle in to find that inspiration.
Like Sidon wouldn't want to take the advantage of their last evening in this beautiful place to enjoy the delightful waters before heading back to the much more chilly ocean tha surrounded their beloved Fandom Island! He was venturing out rather far, of course, but still sticking relatively in the area of the hotel, as to not throw off any unsuspecting sea farers too much, making occasional jaunts back toward the shore to socialize and perhaps invite others to come and join him!
You could sit on the strip of White Beach that the resort runs, but there are even more fire dancers out in the public areas, so grab a snack from one of the booths selling them and enjoy the show after the fantastic sunset. After the sun goes down, the entire beach turns into an impromptu dance party. Hope you like Bon Jovi and Adele...
Rosa had definitely not been spending enough time just chilling out at the beach on this trip, so that was what she decided she was going to do tongiht.
Possibly wondering if she should consider learning fire dancing.
Which, you know, wasn't a disaster idea right from the start, but it had been a while since she'd added some random new knowledge to her repertoire...
Tisarwat was feeling....marginally better that evening, though she still wasn't quite sure what she'd like to do with this evening. The beach, however, seemed like a good place to start, to just enjoy the lively atmosphere or wait and see if something else sparked.
Since Wayne had not expected a wedding or a funeral on this trip, he hadn't exactly packed clothes for a particularleh fancy dinner, but he had brought one of his nicer flannels with him, considering that he was hoping something like this might be in the cards.
"I think this'll do," he commented once they were lead to a table that easily satisfied the extra planning he'd done to make sure it was a good'un, stepping in, of course, to hold out a chair for Shuri.
"Can't say I have!" Wayne had to admit. "Not a whole lotta tilapia running wild in the lakes of Ky-bec, though it is growing in popularity as a farmed fish in Canada, 'specially out 'Berta way."
"Is that so?" asked Wayne, with the marginal tilt of his head that showed particular interest. "Everyone get their pick of different...oh, I guess toppings an' sauces an' stuff like a pizza, too?"
"Then I'll look forward to givin' 'er a try some day," said Wanye, resolutely, though that might have been fluffing it up just a little. He still hadn't reached a conclusion on how he felt about eating fish, head'n all, though he'd grilled 'em like that in occasion. But he s'posed he'd cross that bridge when he'd gotten to it.
It looked especially unappetizing deep fried. Just sayin'.
"We'll have to find a West African place the next time," Shuri said. "They do it best." She glanced down at the menu. "Though I'm also intrigued by snapper roasted in banana leaf."
Wayne kind of wanted to find the brainiac who decided to call a fish 'snapper' and just kind of squint at him quite a bit, but there was another word in there that brought out that faint, familiar growl.
"S'long as it's banana leaf and not just banana," said a man speaking from deep, deep trauma. His eyes dropped, and his chin with it, as he consulted the entry.
"That's a solid choicd," he decided. "And that has me thinking, if yer gonna get something like tuna, here's probably a good place to do it."
He saw the word 'steak.' He was a simple man. Traumatized by fruit, but simple.
"I take it you've gone and just repressed the memory of banana sardine boats, then," said Wayne, enviously.
That was the dish he'd straight up thrown right into the trash that Summer, which Shuri had applauded him for, so that memory wasn't going anywhere for him.
So that should be a fun time for Shuri if she ever made it up to Letterkenny.
"That," Wayne decided, "is prob'ly fer the best, realleh..."
He had nothing against the stuff, himself, but he could definitely understand where she was coming from, especially since he couldn't block those classes from his brain.
Well, it might not exactly be the meat-on-a-stick that brought Amaya into Subo Boracay in her nightly quest for her favorite food to seek out on these trips, but it was kind of hard to pass up a literal pile of meat on fire.
After all, what were ribs but little pieces of meat that came on their own natural sticks?
It's the last night! Time for one more terrible decision! Go on a non-Summer-sponsored pub crawl! Make new friends, knock back the shots, and party like a local on Boracay’s notorious pub crawl, with a professional photographer on hand to record all that transpires (and oh, yes, those photos have been pre-purchased). Hit pubs, beach bars, and pumping clubs, with free entry to all and a whopping 10 shots to get the party started. Bring home your very own T-shirt as a souvenir of an epic night.
This one may not be sponsored by Summer, but you better believe Summer was going to be there! It was like Wednesday was the trial run, right? And since it was back to the land of only being able to drink at the bar she worked at soon (although she may have made headway on that certain problem?), she planned to make the most of it!
Well, they did say the third time was a charm, neh ♥? And while there had been no lack of charm the first two times, who was Shunsui to argue with such profound wisdom when it also included plenty of booze and beautiful women?
This was a man who based a whole career choice superficially for these trips. He was absolutely getting the most out of it.
