Akureyri to Reykjavík, Friday, February 22, 2019

We're heading allllll the way back to Reykjavík today, where the weather is warmer and misty, but first we get to see the stunning landscape of western Iceland, visit another waterfall, and most importantly, go whale watching!

Oh, hell yeah.

Someone put a leash on Beaker, okay? Juuuuuust in case.

"Not where you're concerned, apparently." Hannibal smoothed back his hair with a dignified look. "If you've finished, shall we get more coffee and go watch the others make fools of themselves on the horses?"

Jon rolled his eyes at that.

"Give me ten minutes to finish up here, and then I'll come join you," he replied. And, a moment later, in a mutter, "Bloody horses..."

"Not a fan of horses?" Hannibal asked. "I don't think I knew that. But then, the last equine I rode upon was a unicorn."

"Never had much luck with the one I kept getting saddled with during Karla's war," Jono replied, rolling his eyes. "Would rather keep my own feet on th'ground unless there are wheels under me instead."

A pause.

"Or I'm wearing my collar."

"Shite. Hannibal. When we get back I'm borrowing that back for an afternoon."

"You mean the one that was saddled with you," Hannibal pointed out.

He smiled. "I'd like to see that. We haven't flown together before except when we were women."

"Figure of speech," Jono sighed. "But yes, assuming I haven't had a blowout between now and then... collar's coming out when we're back. Really, it's a must at this point."
