And it's back on the buses for a couple more stops before we reach tonight's lodgings. We'll be stopping at the Mývatn Nature Baths and Goðafoss Waterfall. Your accommodations tonight will be near Akureyri, in the heart of Eyjafjordur (Eyjafjörður), a truly sensational fjord. Hopefully, the northern lights will dance their magic across the night sky!

Totally rejuvenated, we get back on the minibus and head towards Akureyri. One last stop is made at Goðafoss Waterfall, we are sure the beautiful crescent shape will totally enthrall you. Thorgeir, the heathen chieftain from Ljósavatn Farm, threw statues of the old Norse Gods into Godafoss Waterfall to demonstrate the beginning of Christianity in Iceland.
