Good morning, Fandom! It is...let's say "brisk" rather than "cold" this morning, but it's sunny and clear, perfect for walking along the Great Wall of China and then eating an absolute ton of steaming hot noodles and drinking tea.

Which, conveniently enough, is what's on tap for today!

He'd need to explain it first, because it looked like brown sludge meeting purple and that was just weird.

"...Dinner is included in the trip, right?" Stuff she probably should have checked before coming, hmmm.

"I'm pretty sure it is," Norman agreed. "I don't think they'd drag us all the way to China to let us starve."

He hesitated a moment, and then nodded.

"They feed us at the school, of course they'd feed us here, too."

And if they didn't, there were going to be a lot of hungry students. So.

Uma was something of a menace at the cafeteria. There was a lot of hoarding and smuggling food out and stealing more when the staff wasn't looking.

"Cool," Uma said. "I scored some stuff last night, but I wasn't sure how long it would last." She nodded at her bed. "If you get hungry, there's food stashed under there. In the little boxes they had for leftovers," she clarified, just so he wouldn't think there was food on the floor or something.

"Those boxes are so useful," Norman replied, smiling a bit. He wasn't too worried about food on the floor, really. "I might take you up on that, but first I think I'm going to go and investigate what else they have on the menu, I think."

Because it didn't hurt to know what there was available.

Uma stretched out on her bed. "I think I'm going to go back to sleep," she said with some satisfaction. The privilege of sleeping whenever she wanted and as long as she wanted was still one she appreciated. "Maybe get up and explore later."
